See all of our Most Popular programs.
Love to learn in a small-group setting? This collection of programs has at most 10-24 participants.
See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Hi Edith.
My husband, my sister and I are going on the 4/24 trip.
I am also an Edith but I usually answer to Edie.
Pam Arsenault Mar 16, 2014 at 09:10 AM

Hi Edie, My friend and I will be coming from Redmond, OR through San Francisco to Belize. Where are you three?
Edie Main Mar 16, 2014 at 12:06 PM

My sister is coming from around Chicago. Not sure exactly where she connects to get to Belize. Chuck and I live on the Olympic peninsula near Port townsend. We fly to Houston - then on to Belize.

Haven't looked for any blogs, but I'm glad to know there is another person on-board for 4/24. Where will you be coming from, Edith?

Hi Peggy --- We look forward to meeting you on January 23. We are from Plymouth MN which is a suburb of Minneapolis. We have attended one other Road Scholar program, the kayaking trip to Quebec and Vermont last fall. We enjoyed it very much.
Peggy Fischel Jan 12, 2014 at 10:47 PM

Interesting. I'm from Lincoln, Vermont. I'll have to talk to you about that kayaking trip when we meet.

Pam Arsenault Sep 28, 2013 at 08:21 AM

Hi Edie. So good to hear that others have signed up already. Though I travel a lot, this is the first trip with Road Scholar. How about you? My email is kipandpam@msn.com if we could communicate via email that might be easier. Thanks.
Teresa Wilkin Oct 16, 2013 at 10:29 PM

Hi Pam! Great to hear that you are joining Road Scholar for the first time. I'm a veteran of more than 30 programs, and will be joining this program on 4/24. Looking forward to meeting you. Let me know if I can be of any help as the program nears! Would be happy to share my experiences traveling with RS!

I know we have all our expenses: meals, transportation and lodging paid but how about spending money on souvenirs, etc.? Can we use our credit card or should we bring cash or what?
