Road Scholar
Program #8861RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderately Challenging
Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I have logged into my account, clicked on 'discuss this program, yet I see comments for ALL programs, some future, some past. I do not understand this. I see comments for people doing trips that were last month, comments from people doing trips to totally different places. Does anyone know why it is when I click on my specific program, I see all these other comments and none from the program I am signed up for?

I'll be coming in from JFK on 10/5 ~3:30pm. Let me know if you'd like to share a cab too.

It looks like there has been a change in the first day's schedule. I thought I'd seen that we would go to Empire State Building, the first day. I no longer see it. Anyone know about this change?

On my screen, I have selected the trip to NYC Oct 19-23, but when I click 'discuss this program' I get comments for ALL kinds of other trips, and I see no comments for the trip I am enrolled in. Anyone know why the discussion board for a specific trip shows comments for other trips? The only comments I see for my selected trip are those I've made. Anyone know why?

Sorry to hear about getting too many comments...I'm not having that problem. Just wanted to say thanx for the website on what not to do in NYC. Lookinf forward to this trip and am shopping for my next Signature City tour. Good Luck.

I did not say I was getting too many comments. I said that I see no comments for the trip I'm going on. I see comments for other trips. I don't know why they show up when I've selected my program. Ex. one below about a Sept 7 trip. Why does this show up when I've selected 'my program'? And I see no responses to either comment I've made about the program I'm enrolled in.

I'm arriving at Newark AP on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 12:28 p.m. Would like to share ride in with others if there are any coming into that AP around that time. John P.

I found a great site, with maps, hints etc. And an article on what NOT to do in NYC. I thought I'd pass it along. http://gonyc.about.com/od/newyorkcitybasics/tp/Things-Not-To-Do-In-New-York-City.htm

I am arriving 9/21 and am looking for a roommate that would like to split to cost of adding an extra night (9/26) at the same hotel. This would be aprox $176 each. Any interest? I'd like to stay and catch a show. Rooms are going fast. Please respond quickly. I'm from San Francisco and will be heading to London after NYC. Love to make this work!

My flight arrives JFK at 3:40 on 9/7. I would love to share a ride with someone to the hotel. This is my first time in NYC, so I'm a little nervous.
