The weather man said its going to be 99 degree's today in Rapid City so bring your sun screen and your hats. Don't forget your shades!! See everyone there, Im looking forward to meeting everyone.. Don't worry about me, the disabled one, Im rare-in to go and have fun.

I wouldn't worry about being late, cause the airport is small and not complicated and you have till 4:10pm to get on the bus, so you should make it in plenty of time. Looking forward to meeting both of you!

Helen and I are making our first trip with the Road Scholar group. Airline has changed our arrival time in Rapid City to 3:30PM. So we might be a little late to catch the first items on the tour. Any suggestions? We've already made up our minds to arrive a day early in the future to avoid these hassles.

The airport is very small and close to the hotel, so you may not really be that late . I would contact Marilyn or your tour leader and let her know. She will be able to give more specific suggestions. It won't be hard to catch up with the group if you need to. The trip was wonderful and I'm sure you will have a blast!

Are there bathrooms on board the travel buses?
Marvin Singleton Aug 08, 2015 at 11:14 AM

Yes, but suggested to visit rest stops about every 2 hrs.

If you did Yellowstone this summer, did you have any rain on your trip?
Linda Hopkins Aug 04, 2015 at 11:59 AM

I have not left for my trip to YellowStone, I leave on Aug. 30th thru Sept. 7th. Yhe weather so far has been nice there so, I believe it should be nice when I go too. If not that is why Umbrellas were made(LOL)>

I was on the July 19th trip. We had a little rain one night in Yellowstone but it didn't interfere with anything. It's a great trip. You will enjoy every moment.
Marvin Singleton Aug 08, 2015 at 11:15 AM

During the summer, not bothered by rain. One afternoon showers, warm and wet.

Hello explorers! My wife and I are looking forward to this trip. I was in Yellowstone Park in 1953 and I believe it will be quite different now.
