Anyone interest in doing the Snake River Whitewater Rafting trip? Looks like they need 8 people go fill a raft so need 6 more to join us. This would be on Sunday Sept 14th at Jackson Hold.

I am also a light sleeper, looking for a roommate for the September 9 trip. Hoping there is another quiet sleeper looking for a roommate for this trip.

Looking for a roommate for the August 24 trip. I'm a light sleeper and hope there is another "quiet sleeper" looking for a roommate on this trip. Looking forward to a great trip! Barbara Enos

Will be attending this program June 22-30-2014 - Anyone interested in carpooling or taking a cab together to attend the lightshow at Mount Rushmore on the evening of June 23rd. This is a free evening to enjoy other activities.

I am enrolled in this program 9/9 2014. For me it is a once in a lifetime trip. Just got my program material. Yikes, 52 pages to read through. I will need a roommate . I have been on two other Road Scholar trips and loved them both. Anyone else out there going on this trip on this date?

I know it's only October 2013, but knowing how quickly this program fills up I enrolled in the first date offered for next year - June 14-22, 2014. My partner feels he is unable to go along so I am looking for a roommate. Have been on approx 15 RS/Elderhostel trips and would love to compare notes with another frequent
RS traveler. Any other early-birds out there who would like to make an informed connection before RS makes us a random selection? Thanks, Marilyn Esler-Ambrose

I'm new to the program. Not sure when I want to go the ND and Wy. Why did you pick this time of year.
Marilyn Esler-Ambrose Oct 28, 2013 at 09:41 PM

Since this is primarily an outdoor trip, I picked mid-June when I noted the temps there are more moderate than later in the summer. Two months ago I looked into a trip there with another agency but found it was all booked up for June and into July which told me other people liked to go in the cooler weather. It's easy to layer up more clothing if temps are cool but there's not much you can do if it gets swealtering hot. Then found this program with RS which offers more and is a much better value than the one I looked at previously. I've had made wonderful RS experiences and look forward to adding this one to my list.

It was the best trip ever. You will just love it. You are inside the bus a lot or in the mountains where it is cool. We were there in August and it was fine. There is no air conditioning in the lodges in the park but it gets cool at night and you will do fine with the windows open. Be sure to go on the snake river trip

Just finished the August 17th trip and it was better than I could have imagined. Went on the snake river and to the concert. The greatest trip in the world. And the leaders were fabulous too.
