Road Scholar
Program #1197RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Easy
Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

would love to speak with you about single travel - why don't you send me your email address and we can chat?

Georgianna Thomas Sep 20, 2014 at 12:18 PM

I am going on my first road scholar trip to yosemite tomorrow. I am going alone. I will be happy to let you know how it went!

Georgianna, please let me know how going alone is. I've never posted before or gotten the courage to go on any trip, but so many look interesting, especially this one. I just need the courage to do it alone.

I've just never gone on one of the Road Scholar trips and am wanting to do one. Would like to chat with some like minded folks. I think I would like the Yosemite trip next spring. I would be going alone and that is something I've not done before.

Yosemite can be a good start to fall in love with Road Scholars trips and fellow travelers . I see no reason to hesitate on travelling alone. On all trip that we have taken there were singles. They were very much welcomed among the group. I am happy to chat with you about my own experience.

Thanks for the kind thought. But I arranged for the shuttle. I hope that when it's going-home time perhaps I can make better, less expensive arrangements.. Thanks again. See you Sunday.
