While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Heard from my son in law a little extra time in Durango is well worth it. Appreciate the offer. I will be driving from the other direction, i.e. Boise, Salt Lake, Moab and to event. Appreciate it. See you on the 28th. -Bob Knoll

I'm arriving at the Cortez airport at 4:03 on the 30th. Anyone interested in sharing ride/cost?
Wendy Decareau Sep 21, 2012 at 09:02 AM

Hi Judy, I'm arriving on Sept. 29th, or I would have taken you up on that offer. Have a safe trip!
Judy Nakawatase Sep 23, 2012 at 04:54 PM

Hi Wendy, When are you returning to the Cortez airport? If it's the 5th, perhaps my friend and I can pay you for a ride rather than a taxi. Will discuss the matter in person in a couple of days.

Karen Madigan May 22, 2012 at 02:09 PM

I am interested in sharing a ride from Durango Airport to the Mesa Verde National Park on Sunday 6/3 at around 4:45 in the afternoon. Is anyone willing to share a ride? I am willing to share in the cost.

Thank you. Karen Madigan

I'm just just about to sign up but need the above. I'm coming from Ca and will fly into Cortez or Durango which ever would meet you. Are you out there?

Looking to share a ride from Denver area to Mesa Verde for the program # 1263 starting 8/22. Anyone going from the Denver area and/or flying into Denver and then renting a car from there? Spare for one more?
Robert Pond Sep 16, 2012 at 12:25 PM

Traveling from Denver International to Mesa Verde that begins on the 30th. I am allowing an extra day and arriving in Denver on the 29th. After picking up a rental car, I will proceed to Fairplay, CO to stay the night. If anyonbe is interested in riding down with me let me know.
Wendy Decareau Sep 21, 2012 at 09:09 AM

I'm arriving a day early, too. I'll be flying into Durango, renting a car and driving to the Far View Lodge. Have a safe trip!
