Great , I will see you in Frankfurt -
I do not have plans - but let's discuss - perhaps we can find things we will not be doing with the group -

Same flight from Frankfurt. Just talked to MIR and we have same driver from the airport. Do you have plans for the extra 2 days?

Is anyone else on the Oct. trip, and has anyone successfully negotiated the Azerbaijan visa process?
Carolyn Snowberg Aug 22, 2012 at 04:04 PM

Have not done so yet...what a mess the Azerbaijan stuff is. Am going two days early. Wonder if anyone else is going early.
Carolyn Snowberg Sep 13, 2012 at 12:45 PM

it is now sept 13th and still no visa for Azerbaijan! Seems there is a problem with my going early!
crazyquilter Sep 13, 2012 at 04:39 PM

We finally got visas on the third try. They came last week; on Friday the week before Genvisa had no news then they appeared on Tuesday!

crazyquilter Jul 04, 2012 at 08:21 PM

We are enrolled in this program for Oct 2012 and are beginning the visa process. Should the Azerbaijan Visa application still be sent to Genvisa even though there is a different firm, Travisa, handling visas for that Country? Do we get a tourist visa "with voucher" or "without voucher" "Without" requires a confirmation letter from the hotel, "with voucher" requires a voucher previously obtained from a tourist agency in Azerbaijan. Is the address in Azerbaijan the address of the first hotel? Is the "inviting organization" (line 29) a QHT/Nongovernmental organization? On both Azerbaijan and Armenia is the final address my home address?

Gen Visa will be happy to answer your questions. Yes, the application will still be processed by Gen Visa and they can walk you through the process and secure all necessary invitations on her behalf. Road Scholar has negotiated the rates for the processing with Gen Visa and the rates, including return shipping, are lower than the rates offered by Travisa.
