Herb- I have traveled with Elderhostel:/Road Scholar about 20 times. This will be my first time going as a single. All our groups always had singles and we all enjoyed each other. I chose to book this trip with Road Scholar, not directly with Crystal, because I will have a friendly group at dinner, a group leader, and will still have the opportunity to meet other passengers.

Is anyone interested in joining me at Silk Road?

Good Morning Sandy and Rad. I wrote at about midnight from bed last night. This morning I read about combining reservations. I have my Crystal Key number and am happy to share, but I am not sure I should publish. When you combine the reservations I don't THINK you need your own key. If I handle the change we could end up eating PB&J on deck and since you have two brains I shall leave it up to you. I think I would rather email my Crystal Key to you. I am Sandibee10@hotmail.com.

Again Sandy and Rad, seems I cannot tell the boys from the girls. If you cannot navigate the key thing , let me know and I will give it a try.

Please join me or suggest an alternate date when early seating is available.
Radley Smith Dec 05, 2015 at 01:05 PM

Hi, Sandi, I am Sandy Smith (a female) who, with my husband, Rad Smith, have made a reservation at Prego for the 6 pm seating on Jan 13th. I see that with something called a Crystal Key, we can request to be seated as one party, but I have not been able to locate my Crystal Key Code. I will look into this and get back to you.

Sandi Bartelstein Dec 04, 2015 at 10:42 AM

Just reread...noticed that Radley's Mister is also named Sandy with a Y. Same pronunciation, but I spell with an i. I knew there was a difference between boys and girls.

Sandi Bartelstein Dec 04, 2015 at 10:34 AM

Hi Margery, Radley and Mister Radley,
I have made a Prego reservation for myself at 6:00 on January 13, Day 9. It is a formal night as well as a sea day. It is nice to have something to look forward to on sea days, Reservations before 8:00 are hard to come by and I think that waiting until boarding will mean very late dinners and shows. Please join me on the 13th or suggest an alternate date when early seating is available.
