Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Travel tip for smart phone age. Take a photo of your luggage with your smart phone or camera before you start your trip. Easier to show the agent a photo than to try to describe your bag.

Hello art lovers:

We will be taking "In the footsteps of the Great (Impressionist) Masters", April 1-12.

We wonder if anyone will be taking Delta 184 (5:50) from JFK to CDG Paris. Then we can touch base and coordinate getting our shuttle to the airport.

Best

Charles & Mary, maybe you are arranging your own travel but the people who have RS arranging their travel got a list (age 4) of those arriving. There is a shuttle arranged for people arriving on 4 different flights from 7:45 am to 8:25 am. I bet you can get on it

I'm getting excited aren't you?

Does anyone know for sure what the electrical outlets look like in France? Are they the 2 holes that are recessed into the wall?

Hello...I will be traveling alone and am really looking forward to this experience...I have never had a negative Elderhostel..oops Road Scholar experience. This is my first out of country trip. I am a watercolor artist and enjoyed a 10 day art workshop in Provence a couple of years ago. Do we have any other artists on board? Not that it matters because I plan to take lots of pictures for future use...maybe keep an art journal. I enjoy the Impressionists more than any other genre.

My wife Sheila and I are very much looking forward to this adventure. We have many varied interests, but French Impressionism is at the top of the list. Oh, and good food, wine, and classical music.

Anyone flying from LAX for the program on 10-17???

Susan Cook Aug 09, 2011 at 01:27 PM

Hi,
I am traveling alone with this group - Sept 25 - Oct 6. I would like to make contact with any other singles enrolled and I'm curious to know if anyone enrolled is from Florida.
