I am leaving from Boston October 9, Anyone else?

Thomas Soboleski Jun 27, 2014 at 10:22 AM

I am going on this trip Oct 9. I'm interested in learning who will be my travel mates. Also looking for a roommate. Flying from NY.

ann stevens Jun 08, 2014 at 10:27 AM

I am taking the 10/9/2014 trip and am flying our of Washington DC at 5;35 on Austrian Airarrive Vienna at 8:35 AM. Anyone arriving in Vienna before noon? I would be interested in sharing a taxi to the hotel.
Doris Appelbaum Jun 19, 2014 at 01:05 PM

I just returned from that trip. Bring very comfortable shoes and an umbrella. The walking is intense.
ann stevens Jun 19, 2014 at 01:13 PM

Thanks..I had intended to do both. I am thinking of going to Dachau but I am wondering if it would be too upsetting to actually be there.

Doris Appelbaum Apr 13, 2014 at 07:10 PM

When we are in Munich, is anyone interested in visiting Dachau with me. There is one day that has enough time.
Deb Emmerich May 12, 2014 at 11:55 AM

Hello to those taking the 4/18 to 5/1 session. I am interested in the opera and/or symphony in Vienna and Prague, if not too late to get tickets. Is anyone interested? Carol Kelly

Victoria Chandler Feb 13, 2014 at 12:16 PM

Hola, Is anyone taking the trip on 5/22/2014 for the Great composers?
Doris Appelbaum Apr 13, 2014 at 07:07 PM

Victoria - I am scheduled for that trip, and I will be traveling alone. Where are you coming from? I live in Wisconsin. It would be nice to know someone before the trip.
Victoria Chandler Apr 14, 2014 at 07:34 AM

Hi Doris, I will be coming from Richmond, VA. Please reply to my e-mail for further communication. E-mail: gipsyland7@yahoo.com Thanks!

Is anyone taking this Great Composers of Europe trip on 10/9/2014?
Anita MacDonnell Jan 22, 2014 at 11:31 AM

I am thinking about this trip for October. Have you been on other Road Scholar trips? I plan to go alone but not do the single supplement. I live in MA and am 73 years old.
Cecelia Chandler Jan 22, 2014 at 11:46 AM

Hi Anita! Nice to hear from you! If all goes according to plan this trip will be my second RS trip as I am taking a RS trip to San Diego on 3/16/2014. Being a light sleeper I go for the single supplement. I currently work full time in a private school in MD but I will be 65 in May and am retiring in June after 31 years with the school. It has been a good ride, This trip is my retirement splurge. Probably my last splurge! :-) Hope to see you in Vienna as I will be solo as well!
ann stevens Jan 24, 2014 at 01:51 PM

I am traveling solo as well on the Great Composer trip in Oct and am hoping to find a room mate. I live in Acton, Maine
Anita MacDonnell Jan 24, 2014 at 02:39 PM

I live in North Attleboro, MA. I do not have a flight as yet. Did you get yours through RS or on your own? I am a retired high school Engish teacher. Traveling and having a roommate is new to me. Maybe we could meet sometime and see if it might work for us. Or maybe that is not the correct protocol.
ann stevens Jan 24, 2014 at 05:18 PM

This is my 3rd elderhostel/road scholar trip , the pothers being quite some time ago. I have also traveled with Untours and done a lot of traveling in Europe on my own as well. Road Scholar called me today to set up my flight. I would like very much to meet you if you are interested . I live in southern Maine close to the NH border. I am an active person ..enjoy walking, swimming, reading and of course music. If you like, I can give you my email address.
Anita MacDonnell Jan 25, 2014 at 07:11 AM

The Opera, Don Carlo, on Sunday, October 13 2013 begins at 6:00pm. Will we be back on time from the day's activities? Anyone?
Deb Emmerich May 12, 2014 at 11:57 AM

Nancy, how did you find out about activites that are not part of the tour?
