Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

My friend Roger and I will be on the 4/3 to 4/13 trip and would like to know if people have signed up for the Day 3 optional activity - the Polynesian Culture Center. Karel

My husband and I signed up for the PCC. The auditorium where a too long program was held is partially open air. We got really chilled. My husband develop the flu (in spite of flu shots last November). Just as he was getting better, I got sick. Our vacation was ruined. Maybe you would fare better.

Robert & Peggy, Mary & hubby...looking forward to meeting you & with at least six of signed up we'll have some clout (hopefully). See you on Wed. Diane & Larry
Mary Pax Feb 25, 2013 at 09:33 AM

I wasn't concerned about not getting confirmation till Brenda/Diane raised the question. Guess I'll make a copy of our credit card statement where the charge is listed. My husband's name is Ralph, and I go by Mary Lou here at home. Other people usually just call me Mary.

Robert Carmichael Feb 22, 2013 at 11:47 AM

We also signed up for that and they cashed our check but we haven't received confirmation either. Peggy Carmichael

We sent reservations for Day 3 Polynesian Culture Center but never rec'd confirmation for Day 3 trip. When do we get details of where/when to meet. Anyone else going?
Mary Pax Feb 22, 2013 at 09:41 AM

We're also going to the PCC--and didn't get confirmation. Read the info they sent. Somewhere I got the idea that when we're finished with the morning activity, a bus will be there to take us.

Robert Carmichael Feb 20, 2013 at 06:20 PM

We are wondering whether we eat together in the evening as a group on the ship.
Mary Pax Feb 20, 2013 at 07:16 PM

The literature says we can eat wherever we want. I'm guessing that one option is to eat with the group.
Mary Pax Feb 20, 2013 at 07:31 PM

On further reflection, I recall one cruise where there was "open seating." That meant that we could eat whenever we wanted, wherever there was seating available.

Mary Pax Jan 28, 2013 at 12:53 PM

My husband and I are going on this trip Feb.27 to March 9, 2013. I anyone else reading this going at the same time?
Robert Carmichael Feb 20, 2013 at 06:18 PM

Yes, my husband and I are also on this trip on same dates.

Jean Gilman Dec 04, 2012 at 07:40 PM

Is anyone looking for a female roommate for this trip--April 3-13 or Sept. 25-Oct. 5 departures?

Hi -- My husband and I are taking this trip Nov. 7-17 and are planning to go snorkeling (I've never been before;-) at Hanauma Bay on Day 3. Anybody interested in joining us?
