I'm looking at the June 2016 trip. I'd like to find out if we will be walking to the Museums from our hotel or taking public transportation. The activity level is moderately challenging. Is that due to standing in the museums for a few hours or is it because we will be walking a lot in NYC?

Diane Linimon Sep 18, 2015 at 07:37 PM

We are Diane and Gary from Phoenix. We will be arriving at the hotel a day early so we can take a short tour on Monday before the group gets together. Is anyone else arriving early? Maybe we can get together the evening before the program starts. This will be our first trip to New York, and our second Road Scholar trip.

Diane, I'm Sonny from Seattle. I plan to arrive late on Sunday evening, October 4. I had thought to visit the Guggenheim Museum on Monday, but I'm flexible.
Diane Linimon Sep 19, 2015 at 12:56 PM

We have reservations for a city tour with OnBoard Shuttle Topurs, the NT See It All tour, from 10:00 to 3:30, so unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to join you for a Guggenheim tour.
Diane Linimon Sep 19, 2015 at 12:58 PM

Our hotel reservation is under the name Linimon. Maybe we can manage to get together Sunday evening if not too late, or Monday morning for an early breakfast?

Sounds good. I will call you when I get in.

Hi, Am looking forward to renewing my love of Art History and visiting the city again. It's been over 40 years since I've been in New York. Contact me. Maybe we can get to know each other in the group before we all meet for the first time. Sharon Larocque, Boulder, CO.
