Hello, November participants. I'm looking forward to our tour. I'm from Boston but am doing some volunteer work in the Cook Islands immediately prior to the tour. See you soon. Anne B.

We will be coming in from Chicago at 1:00 pm. so we will have lots of time. David I think your idea of buying an umbrella there is a good one. We have rain Jackets we are bringing. The temp here is 58 so not much change. See you at LAX.

We are on May 14 trip. Live in Tucson AZ., flying into LAX from PHX.
Rick Steves says buy umbrella when you get where you are going if you need one. Cheap. We did last Sept. in Ljubljana and paid 4 Euro . We are carrying small iPad, no computer.
Alice Wittmann May 10, 2015 at 05:40 PM

We will probably just pack our umbrella. We have an ipad also. My niece who lives in Christchurch says the weather has been pretty good this week so hopefully that will hold out. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Thank you for the input. I have been away from the bitter cold and pouring rain the last twenty years, hard to remember how it feels like. Hope I can still weather the challenge :). Looking forward to meeting you Alice, Kathy and Ralph soon.

We will be on the May 14 trip and plan to bring rain wear? We are from Sister Bay Wisconsin and our weather now looks like what we can expect in New Zealand.
Alice Wittmann May 07, 2015 at 06:53 PM

Hey Looking forward to meeting you. Yes, we will take rain gear and lots of layers I guess. My niece lives there and says the weather has been pretty good in Christchurch but it rains a lot. I know it will be cool. We live in South Carolina so it will be a bit different that it is here now. See you soon.

I will be on May 14th trip. Do we need to bring umbrella and winter coat? I live in Escondido, Ca. Any chance, some one from this area of San Diego is going too? Looking forward to meet all of you in New Zealand.
Alice Wittmann May 07, 2015 at 06:53 PM

Looking forward to meeting you. Coming from South Carolina and are bringing rain gear and things to layer. See you soon.
