Robert, I suggest you contact the New Zealand group leader. You will have a problem with the water since you have two plane trips. I am sure the group leader can help you with this. The south Island will be more difficult.

ok, thanks. With regard to Steve's question, My CPAP power supply shows it is fine for 100/240 volt, 50/60 hz so I figure it will be find other than needing a plug adapter.

Mary and I are looking forward to this tour in March. I have recently gotten a CPAP machine and have never traveled with it. Any suggestions on what to do with it and where to get water will be appreciated.

Greetings! I am curious about the weather in May.
David Clement Dec 23, 2015 at 01:19 PM

Cool to cold. North Island is warmer; Soouth Isand colder. Bring layers and prepare for some cold weather and rain. Some days were nice. We hit snow on the south island. But the crowds were gone. We did this trip in May 2015. Dave

Our first trip to NZ Nov. 6 - Nov. 18. A few questions: What clothes should we pack? I have a CPAP and was told that it would automatically adapt to the NZ current. Is this true? Any other tips?

Hello, November participants. I'm looking forward to our tour. I'm from Boston but am doing some volunteer work in the Cook Islands immediately prior to the tour. See you soon. Anne B.
