See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I am going on Sept 22 trip. Would like to hear from you if you are on this tour.

Deanna & John Mooney Sep 07, 2014 at 08:15 PM

This is an AWESOME trip - If you get Marc & Crystal, you will learn soo much & be entertained, too. Great leaders! We did this trip Sept 2013 with 42 other folks on the bus. So seriously, when some of you ask if anyone is going, RS would have cancelled it if they didn't meet their minimum.

Anyone going on this Trip on Sept. 29th?

John Viera Aug 14, 2014 at 01:59 PM

Antone registered on the 9/8 trip? This will be our first on RS.

Cathy Owen Aug 07, 2014 at 03:22 PM

I am thinking of going on the 9/15 trip and it will be my first RS trip. Was also considering doing the RS hiking trip in the Canyonlands instead. Reactions? Suggestions?
Kenneth Doine Sep 03, 2014 at 02:04 PM

I did this trip in June...truly amazing. It also was my first RS trip, and won't be my last. Suggest you have a small backpack or bag that you can carry small items plus a water bottle, believe me you will be drinking more water than you can believe. A hiking pole was a great addition to have also. bring a bag of protein or energy bars, yoiu will be fed well but on some of the longer hikes nice to have.

Bob Retsema: I am enrolled for this trip (8727-Sept 15-25), and am interested in a potential roommate.

Does anyone know if this trip includes Antelope Canyon? I don't see it on the itinerary but "Elaine" has uploaded photos from there on this site. Anyone know, please?
Roberta Hung Jun 13, 2014 at 02:37 PM

No. But a couple in my 2013 group arranged through the guides to to to Antelope Canyon at additional expense by bus in lieu of the lake cruise and rainbow arch. There is another tour that goes to Antelope Canyon in lieu of the Grand Canyon North Rim.

Thanks! I will definitely look into these options.
