Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Is anyone driving from Phoenix for the May 27 start date with one night stop and arriving May 26 at College Inn.

Peggy Armey Mar 21, 2013 at 04:54 PM

My trip is May 16 to 26. Flying to Vegas then shuttle to St George . Is anyone else doing this trip?
Shelly Troup Mar 29, 2013 at 03:32 PM

I am looking at this week for the trip. Are you interested in sharing a room?
Shelly Troup Apr 01, 2013 at 03:26 PM

What dates are you traveling? I'll contact RS.

I am thinking of going on this Mar 25 to april4 trip to st george. I have never travelled with Roads scholar. I am coming from Vancouver island british columbia. probably the victoria airport. Is anyone else coming from around here? Jen Williams

I have another question for anyone who might have a suggestion: My flight back to Florida on the 28th doesn't leave until 12:20 a.m. on the 29th. You can only check your luggage in at the airport 4 hours before the flight. Where could I leave my luggage so I could look around Las Vegas for a few hours? Is it safe for a solo female to do so--it would mostly be during daylight and early evening? Jean Gilman

Just read the details of the trip and all the places. Really looking forward to this trip. We are arriving in Las Vages and taking shuttle on 18th

James Clark Mar 06, 2013 at 11:51 AM

We will be on the 4/8 2:30 pm St. George Shuttle.

Don Johns Feb 26, 2013 at 05:30 PM

We are booked on a shuttle leaving Road Scholar at 9:40 am; it then goes to the company's office for 10 am departure. We are staying 3 nights in Las Vegas. See you in St. George. Carolyn
Jean Gilman Feb 26, 2013 at 07:18 PM

Thanks for replying, Carolyn. Is the name of the shuttle something like St. George Express (Nascar Shuttle)?
Don Johns Feb 26, 2013 at 09:12 PM

Jean - the shuttle company is the St. George Shuttle; website as provided in an earlier message: Jean - the shuttle is the St. George Shuttle; website as provided in an earlier message: www.stgshuttle.com. Ignore the NASCAR part of their website. Ignore the NASCAR part of their website - that is for a special event. Good luck. Carolyn

Thanks, Carolyn. I appreciate the clarification. Jean

I am booked for the 4/18 program. Arriving Las Vegas 4/17 at 6:33 p.m. I thought I'd spend the night in LV and take the shuttle the next day to see the sights along the way. Is it a pretty ride? Also, has anyone taken the NASCAR Express to St. George before and is it reliabe or can you recommend another company? Thanks
Jean Gilman
Helen Sternheim Feb 26, 2013 at 01:13 PM

You want the ST George Shuttle...Not one going to the NASCAR track.
Helen Sternheim Feb 26, 2013 at 01:15 PM

ST GEORGE SHUTTLE schedule. It is reasonably priced for a ride that tales over an hour.
Helen Sternheim Feb 26, 2013 at 01:16 PM

http://www.stgshuttle.com/schedules.php The scenery is ok.
Joann Boruvka Feb 26, 2013 at 04:04 PM

We also are on the 4/18 program. We plan to arrive on 4/17 in LasVegas and take the shuttle to St. George that day. We look forward to meeting you, Jean.
