I have felt bottom wading boots. Can I wear them here?

I am going on the May 24 trip. It's fly tying time and was wondering what size, color and type of mayfly, caddis and stonefly to tie. Or any others? Any Help?

Soft hackled flies worked well, particularly on the Esopus. Snipe and purple and greenwells, fished on the dropper with a small goldhead on point. Size 14.

Got my info packet and other docs on Monday. The contact person at Frost Valley is Jennie Stover. She can send what you need via pdf.

Interesting, I am in Massachusetts and have heard nothing from Frost Valley as yet. If nothing tomorrow, I will give them a call.

James Witham Sep 11, 2013 at 04:36 PM

David, I just spoke to someone at Road Scholar who said we should be receiving an information packet from Frost Valley about the program, which may answer questions like yours. I haven't received the packet and I'm assuming you haven't either. The Customer Service person I spoke said he would follow up on this with Frost Valley.

I have received the packet and it didn't include this typ of info. I may try calling them. I need to get started tying.

What flies do I need to bring? Can I get any locally?
