I'm really looking forward to this Alaskan adventure and would like to know more about what to pack for the cold weather. Anyone have advice?

Also how does one protect a iPhone from the cold when taking photos?

Was in Alaska in March twice. Once for the Iditarod and once for the ice sculpting and winter carnival. Dress warm, I took the LLBean thick winter coat, LLBean boots and jeans and warm sweaters. Something to keep your head and hands warm. Hotels were warm and confortable. Good Luck
