We've seen reviews of concerns with the food from the spring 2014 timeframe; for those of you who have attended since, how have the dinners been? Also, I've heard that Charlottesville has a fun old downtown area. How far is that from the program's hotel, within walking distance by chance? Thank you!

What is a good hiking trip, but not more than 4-5 miles a day.

Addendum to my previous post: the second program is in Williamsburg VA.

Hi, I am enrolled in the March 17 thru 22nd program and a second program, "Colonial and Revolutionary VA" from March 24th. I am having a difficult time finding a way to get between the two programs. The only practical way seems to be to rent a car. Is there anyone out there who is doing these same two programs who would be willing to share a ride?
