16 Days | 15 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I've noticed several comments regarding dress for the dinners; is a tux required or can I do with a dark suit? Are floor length formal dress required fo ladies?
Cecily Isbell Apr 06, 2014 at 09:59 AM

Dark suits were the norm. Women opted for separates--sprarkly/shiny top and skirt or long paints. Most wore the same outfit again. Alternatively, there are other places to eat on the ship with no dress code, but it would be a shame to miss out on the experience.

ps. Cocktail length skirts are OK too.

I have arranged for a full day tour of Versailles for Wednesday Oct 17.
I am open to suggestions for Oct 16

We are going to Musee D'Orsay Oct. 16 as we have never been there before.

How do you find out the details on the dress requirements for the Cunard dinners?
Can you rent for one or two nights the needed dress/
Dick Blaha May 26, 2013 at 09:24 AM

Good question. Based on pictures of the Britannia Restaurant, it looks like a causal restaurant. Dressing up may not be required. Our friends are now returning to the states on the Queen Mary 2. We have many questions to ask when they return next week.

My husband and I are remaining in Paris for 4 days at the end of the tour. Any others doing this?

Warning: This program is not about Eisenhower, Churchill or DeGualle. Warning: The New York itinerary is changed on the spot--don't buy any NYC tickets on reliance of the itinerary. Warning: the reading list is for an old program which used to go to London, and is disavowed by the onboard expert.

Cecily Isbell Mar 26, 2012 at 07:11 PM

Anybody else puzzled why we are instructed to buy a London map when we're not going to London?
William Johnson Apr 14, 2013 at 07:05 PM

trip formerly included a full day in London
