Yes it does! Let's hope for some clear nights! The Aurora forecast looks good -- check it out at http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/30-minute-aurora-forecast#

anyone traveling from SFO?

Nora Trodden Dec 20, 2014 at 08:51 AM

We attended the Into the Arctic Skies trip one year ago in Feb. 2014. Amazing trip! Read my Trip Advisor review of the Northern Studies Center. Be sure to take advantage of the rental Sorel boots at the Center and the other clothes if you need them. You will need them!

I'd love to connect with others who are going on the 2/10/15 trip. I am a 66 year old male, a physicist and a rabbi.

Hi Michael. Good to see another person is going on this. I'm a retired teacher from GA. This is one of my bucket list items.

Anyone from Hunterdon, Somerset, or Morris County traveling from Newark Airport to Winnipeg on March 4 for this trip? Would share expense getting to the airport.

Nora Trodden Jan 02, 2014 at 09:44 AM

Has anyone else been watching NOAA's Space Weather site? The solar storm activity is increasing, which is good for our viewing of the Aurora in February. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
Kathleen Brannigan Jan 02, 2014 at 11:41 AM

No, Nora, I haven't been. But thanks! I will start. Fingers crossed, for sure.
