Since the program focuses on finding birds, photo opportunities are on the go. Sightings are usually long distance so you would need good handheld zoom.

I am more interested in photography birds. Does this program give you that opportunity or is everything long distance

Is anyone signed up for the Nov. 8-13, 2015 program arriving on the 7th and would like to go birding on the 8th before the program officially

Is anyone arriving on the 7th and would like to go birding on the 8th before the program officially begins?

Would another woman like to share a room with me for the Feb 1-6 trip? (1 double-occupancy room left) I'm a casual birder from the northeast and eager to learn more about Florida birds

Marvin De Jong Jan 31, 2013 at 07:09 PM

Looking forward to getting to meet all of the folks on this trip and seeing lots of birds.

Making own flight arrangements. What time are we expected to be at RSW airport at end of trip????

Joyce White Jul 26, 2011 at 02:50 PM

I love birds but am not an avid "birder" (if there is such a word). I enjoy the out of doors and wonder if this program would be suitable for someone who just wants to be outside in the winter while learning more about birds.
