Program #1384RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

We are doing the Mar 1 tour. We live in Louisiana. This will be our 7th RS tour and all have been wonderful.

This will be our first Road Scholar program from Feb 15-20. We have started on the reading list with the Eugenia Price trilogy. We would love to hear from any others on this trip.

We will be attending our first program during the last weekend in October and wondering if any special items we should bring and we hope become acquainted with and other planning to attend the program.

Camera, wind breaker with pockets and/or a small backpack, small flash light for the resort, although the path is fairly well loighted. Small Notebook and pen. Sturdy walking shoes for all surfaces including sand. And everything else on the list they provide in your package.

Went in February. Weather was cool - mostly 60's and some rain - but I like those temps. Program was outstanding, as were the accomodations. Highly recommend it.
