My granddaughter, Arden, age 13 who lives in Eugene, Oregon and I (Kelseyville, CA) leaving SFO on the 20th on Emirates flying through Dubai. Looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great trip. This is the 5th Intergenerational Road Scholar program I have done with 3 grandchildren.

Thanks so much for being in touch. This is our first ever Road Scholar trip. I was talking to another grandmother/friend who told me about these wonderful adventures. We were initially stunned when Elio chose this trip. Now we are thrilled! We look forward to meeting you, too. Others?

Randy and I are also looking forward to this wonderful adventure with our grandson Trevor, age 10. He lives in Chicago with older brother and sister who have already gone on Road Scholar trips with us. We live near Gettysburg, PA and will fly with Trevor from Chicago via JFK. Thanks for getting in touch with the group.

Our revised travelplans have us leaving JFK and arriving Johannesburg the morning of the start of the program. I suspect it is the same flight you are on, so perhaps we will meet early.

We will also be on the June 23, 2015 trip----grandson Elio, age 12, with grandparents Kathie and Giorgio. We are all getting excited. We live in San Francisco and will be flying from here to Dubai, then on to Johannesburg. We'd be pleased to hear from others who'll be on this trip with us.

Our 10-year old grandson Trevor Byrnes is going on this program starting June 23, 2015 with Grandma Ginny and Bapa Randy Aires (me). We received our first packet in the mail yesterday. We will be flying together from Chicago, IL and changing planes in NYC, arriving in Johannesburg on schedule. We will welcome comments from others on this trip.

Our 10-year-old granddaughter Fiona is going with Grandma Janet and Poppa John (me) on this program starting June 17, 2014. We're flying over a day early, leaving NY on the 16th, flying through Atlanta and arriving Johannesburg on the 17th. Glad to know there will be at least two others on the trip.

My grandson Zachary aged 10 and I are going on the program starting June 17, 2014. Anyone else on this program interested in corresponding.

Katherine Randall Feb 08, 2014 at 07:43 PM

My granddaughter Celie, age 10, and I, Gramma Kathy, are going on the program starting July 8, 2014. We'd be interested in knowing others who are going.
