 Description: Accessible by bridge from Lubec, Maine, this International Park offers 2,800 acres of natural charm, with beaches, hiking trails, bogs, several lighthouses. "Beloved Island" to Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt where they spent their summers in their famous red cottage.

Room amenities: Comfortable, clean, cozy rooms, many with stunning water views, most have ensuite baths.

Facility amenities: Four vintage cottages, built at the turn of the century with beautifully furnished living rooms, dining rooms and sitting rooms. All except Hubbard Cottage have TV. Meals served in dining room of Prince Cottage.

Smoking policy: No
Smoking policies vary by facility. During all group events and activities, smoking is prohibited.

Bathroom: One room has a claw-foot tub with no shower.

Afternoon: Excursion to Campobello Library and Museum, for afternoon lecture, followed by group tour of Campobello Island with stops at various locations of interest.

Dinner: Dinner in dining room at Prince Cottage, 6 p.m.

Evening: Lecture/program in great room, Prince Cottage.

Day Three: Tuesday, August 13 - Beach and/or bog walk, tour of Visitor Center and Roosevelt summer... 
Beach and/or bog walk, tour of Visitor Center and Roosevelt summer home. Visit historic church where Roosevelts worshipped.

Breakfast: Breakfast buffet in dining room at Prince Cottage, 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.

Morning: Lecture, guided exploration of nearby shore or bog.

Lunch: Lunch in dining room of Prince Cottage, 12 noon.

Afternoon: Group walk to Visitor Center, short film screening, followed by docent-led tour of Red Cottage (the Roosevelt's summer home) and gardens. Late afternoon "Tea with Eleanor" in Historic Hubbard Cottage. Learn a bit more about Eleanor Roosevelt from Park Staffwhile enjoying refreshments.

Dinner: Tour of historic Anglican Church where the Roosevelts worshipped while on the island, followed by dinner in parish hall hosted by members of the oldest quilting circle in North America.

Evening: Lecture/program.

Evening: 7:15 p.m. short gathering, Prince Cottage
