Field trip to Oxford University's largest college, Christ Church. Uniquely Christ Church is both a college and Cathedral. Walk in the footsteps of Henry VIII, Lewis Carroll, creator of Alice in Wonderland and Dean of the college, and see trhe Great Hall-inspiration for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter books and films. A private exploration takes you behind the scenes to Henry's Tudor kitchen, the secret garden and the Jabberwocky tree.

Taken in Blenheim Palace.
Afternoon:
Discover the treasures of the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace, centre for undercover spies during the Second World War. Children may wish to find their way through the famous Maze.

Field trip to the Cabinet War Rooms where Churchill led his country during the Second World War and the inspirational Churchill Museum documenting his life and works. See the Map Room, Churchill's bedroom and headquarters. Curatorial staff introduce the collections and lead a spy trail for all.

- Bletchley Park-the Second World War's best kept secret.

Field trip to Bletchely Park--"the goose that laid the golden egg" in Churchill's WAr. See the huts where code breakers worked in top secret, where married couples kept their work and life at the Park secret from each other. Discover the Colossus and Enigma machines. Children will take a specially designed Codes and Ciphers workshop with staff from the centre.

The field trip continues.

Evening:
Nigel West introduces James Bond before a showing of a Bond movie. Children may watch a children's spy film.

Nigel West brings the adults up to date with spy revelations of the 20th and 21st Centuries. Children prepare for the final show of work to the grandparents.

Free time in Cambridge. Coach leaves the Belfry at 11:30am departing the city centre for the hotel at 4:30pm.

Before dinner the children display their work. Dinner and farewell in the hotel.
