Day Two: Friday, August 02 - Welcome meeting with Nigel West
Arrive To: London. Transfers from London Heathrow to hotel.

Lunch: A light lunch at 12:30pm is included in the hotel for those arriving by lunchtime.

Afternoon: Check-in and free time before a welcome meeting in the hotel at 5:00pm. Children take part in a finger print identity exercise at 5:00pm.

Evening: Renowned intellience expert, author and broadcaster Nigel West briefly introduces the World of Spies to all.

Breakfast: Full English and continental breakfast in the hotel.

Morning: Lecture for adults on Russia, the US and UK and the Cold War by Nigel West. Children take part in "Identify the Suspects" and "Sherlock Holmes silhouettes" workshops.

Lunch: In the hotel.

Afternoon: Field trip by coach: London's Spy World followed by a field trip to 221 B Baker Street Sherlock Holmes Museum.

Dinner: In the hotel.

Evening: Children's workshop: Observation skills, Creating Disguises and Riddles. Adults: Sherlock Holmes pub trip.

Day Four: Sunday, August 04 - River Thames cruise, Tower of London and the Lond...
Morning: Full English and continental breakfast in the hotel.

Lunch: In the Royal Armouries cafe at the Tower.

Afternoon: Take a panoramic flight over London on the London Eye-- look down on Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. On return to the hotel the adults have free time and the children enjoy a secret codes workshop.

Dinner: In the hotel.

Evening: Theatre performance such as 39 Steps.

Day Five: Monday, August 05 - Oxford's Dreaming Spires , Christ Church, Blenhei...
Breakfast: Full English and continental breakfast in the hotel.

Morning: Field trip to Oxford University's largest college, Christ Church. Uniquely Christ Church is both a college and Cathedral. Walk in the footsteps of Henry VIII, Lewis Carroll, creator of Alice in Wonderland and Dean of the college, and see trhe Great Hall-inspiration for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter books and films. A private exploration takes you behind the scenes to Henry's Tudor kitchen, the secret garden and the Jabberwocky tree.

Lunch: Taken in Blenheim Palace.

Afternoon: Discover the treasures of the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace, centre for undercover spies during the Second World War. Children may wish to find their way through the famous Maze.

Dinner: In the hotel.

Morning: Field trip to the Museum of London-exhibitions telling the story of this most famous of cities. Explore Georgian rooms, the streets of Victorian London, and archaeological collections dating back to the Romans.

Lunch: In the Museum of London's cafe.

Afternoon: Take a creepy excursion to the London Dungeon and discover the city's underground secrets.

Dinner: In the hotel.

Evening: At leisure.

Breakfast: Full English and continental breakfast in the hotel.

Morning: Field trip to the Cabinet War Rooms where Churchill led his country during the Second World War and the inspirational Churchill Museum documenting his life and works. See the Map Room, Churchill's bedroom and headquarters. Curatorial staff introduce the collections and lead a spy trail for all.

Lunch: Not included so that you have free time in London.

Afternoon: Free time.

Evening: Free time for adults; string lazers/assault course for children.

Evening: Nigel West lectures on the infamous Cambridge Spies and ther British Establishment to adults. Children have an introductory workshop to Bletchley Park.

Day Nine: Friday, August 09 - Bletchley Park-the Second World War's best kept s...
Breakfast: In the hotel.

Morning: Field trip to Bletchely Park--"the goose that laid the golden egg" in Churchill's WAr. See the huts where code breakers worked in top secret, where married couples kept their work and life at the Park secret from each other. Discover the Colossus and Enigma machines. Children will take a specially designed Codes and Ciphers workshop with staff from the centre.

Lunch: In Bletchely Park.

Afternoon: The field trip continues.

Dinner: In the hotel.

Evening: Nigel West introduces James Bond before a showing of a Bond movie. Children may watch a children's spy film.

Breakfast: In the hotel.

Morning: Nigel West brings the adults up to date with spy revelations of the 20th and 21st Centuries. Children prepare for the final show of work to the grandparents.

Afternoon: Free time in Cambridge. Coach leaves the Belfry at 11:30am departing the city centre for the hotel at 4:30pm.

Dinner: Before dinner the children display their work. Dinner and farewell in the hotel.

Evening: At leisure.

Day Eleven: Sunday, August 11 -
Breakfast: In the hotel. Some departures may leave before breakfast. Independent travellers may join an exisiting transfer to London Heathrow if departing on this day.
