Introduction to Boston art museums lecture. Followied by a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts. Enjoy a guided exploration and some free time enjoy the museum of your own.

Lunch at the MFA
Afternoon:
Walk to the nearby Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and take in a guided tour of Ms. Gardner's private collection. After the tour, you will have time to explore the museum on your own or return to the MFA if you choose.
Dinner:
Dinner will be on your own this evening so that you may sample some of the local cusine.

After your time at the museums, enjoy some free time in Harvard Square.

Continue your time in Harvard Square with a visit to the Harvard Museum of Natural History. See one of the Museum?s most famous treasures; the internationally acclaimed Ware Collection of Blaschka Glass Models of Plants, The Glass Flowers.

Enjoy a walk around the Beacon Hill and Back Bay areas. View some of the great pieces of public art the city has to offer, including the statue of the Massachusetts 54th Regiment, one of the first African American units to fight in the Civil War.

Experience Rockwell's art, life and legacy in the artist's picturesque New England hometown of Stockbridge, Massachusetts nestled in the culturally rich Berkshires.

Lunch on the grounds of the Norman Rockwell Museum.
Afternoon:
Return to North Adams and visit Mass MoCA one of the world's premier centers for making and showing the best art of our time. Enjoy a guided tour and some free time to explore the museum.
