JungfraujochFrom Grindelwald, Kleine Scheidegg, journey to Jungfraujoch. Known as the "Top of Europe," Jungfraujoch is Europe's highest altitude railway station, at 3454 meters. It offers visitors a high-Alpine wonder world of ice, snow and rock, and stunning views on a clear day. The train ride through the rock of the Eiger and Monch is an incredible experience. We recommend this only if the weather is beautiful. Train tickets from Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch cost approx. CHF 100 and can be purchased that day.

Similar to artists Gauguin, van Gogh, Cezanne and Munch, Segantini is regarded as a precursor of modernism. His pictures portray human existence in harmonious accord with nature.
