Day One: Sunday, October 26 -
Afternoon: Arrive at The Warwick Conference Center in late afternoon for check-in beginning at 4:30 p.m. Enjoy a Wine and Cheese Reception and introduce yourself to fellow participants.

Dinner: Dinner is in the East House Dining Hall. Enjoy a bountiful buffet with entrées varying from turkey, pork, chicken, beef, and fish. Dinner will include a fresh salad bar, vegetables, potatoes, rolls, and dessert. All meals at The Warwick Conference Center include a vegetarian option.

Evening: (All itinerary details subject to change.) Following dinner there will be a time of introductions and an orientation session to familiarize everyone with The Warwick Conference Center and the week's activities.

Day Two: Monday, October 27 - Enjoy a Wine Tasting at the Demarest Hill Winery ...
Breakfast: Wake up to a hearty breakfast buffet. Daily entrées will rotate, but you can look forward to a variety of breakfast foods including scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, ham, bacon, oatmeal, toast, muffins, yogurt, cold cereal, and hot coffee, tea, and orange juice.

Morning: Begin the day with a thought provoking discussion on the topic: "Bioethics Conversations". Stretch your legs for a brief break with coffee or tea. Return to the classroom for the first lecture on the topic: "Conflicts in the Arab World".

Lunch: Enjoy a buffet lunch in the East House Dining Hall with entrées including a variety of the following: soup, sandwiches, paninis, pasta, salad bar, and a dessert.

Afternoon: After a delicious lunch, continue the discussion on the topic: "Bioethics Conversations" followed by free time with the option to visit a local winery and enjoy a wine tasting. Demarest Hill Winery is located just outside the Village of Warwick, where the Master Vintner learned wine-making in his native Italy. Autumn is also a beautiful time to hike the trails or take a leisurely walk on the beautiful Warwick Center property.

Dinner: A plentiful buffet dinner will be served in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: Meet in the lecture room for the first lecture on the topic: "The Comedy of Life". Leave the lecture room filled with laughter and end the day with an evening snack over conversation with new friends.

Morning: Return to the classroom refreshed after a good nights rest and learn from the final lecture on the topic: "Bioethics Conversations". Enjoy a brief break with a cup of coffee or tea. Return to the classroom for the second lecture on the topic: "The Comedy of Life".

Lunch: A hearty and satisfying buffet lunch will be served in the East House Dining hall.

Afternoon: After a delicious lunch return to the classroom for the final lecture on the topic: "The Comedy of Life". Leave the classroom with a lighter step and a happy heart as you prepare to enjoy some free time. Take some time to take a reflective walk on the beautiful Warwick Center grounds, read a good book, or enjoy comparing notes with new friends. Return to the classroom for a late afternoon lecture on the topic: "Conflicts in the Arab World".

Dinner: Dinner served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: Enjoy an evening of entertainment followed by a delicious evening snack.

Day Four: Wednesday, October 29 - Visit Pacem in Terris, a six-acre sculpture garde...
Visit Pacem in Terris, a six-acre sculpture garden which contains some 70 large-scale sculptures. Also enjoy a visit to The Storm King Art Center which focuses on monumental sculptures from the 1960 to the present.

Note: Be prepared to walk on uneven ground. Sturdy walking shoes are highly recommended and dress warmly with layers.

Breakfast: Enjoy a hearty country breakfast served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Morning: After a refreshing night of rest, return to the classroom for an informative lecture on the topic: "Grounds for Sculpture". Board the charter bus for Pacem in Terris located in very close proximity to The Warwick Conference Center. Enjoy the self-guided walking tour of the six-acre sculpture garden created by the late Dutch artist, sculpturer, and author, Dr. Frederick Franck. This quiet peaceful sanctuary contains some 70 sculptures in steel, stone, wood, and glass. Then board the charter bus for the return trip to The Warwick Conference Center.

Lunch: We will have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Board the bus for Mountainville, NY for a docent-led visit to The Storm King Art Center. The Art Center is a museum that celebrates the relationship between sculpture and nature. It's 500-plus acres of landscaped fields, rolling hills, meadows, and woodlands provide a dramatic setting for more than 100 post-World War II sculptures by internationally renowned artists. Board the charter bus for the return trip to The Warwick Conference Center.

Dinner: Enjoy buffet dinner in the East House Dining Room.

Evening: Spend the evening in discussion with the Gifted Scholars and other fellow participants asking your questions and sharing your thoughts. End the evening with a relaxing cup of coffee or tea along with an evening snack.

Day Five: Thursday, October 30 - Enjoy the gardens and sculptures at Kykuit, the h...
Enjoy the gardens and sculptures at Kykuit, the home of four generations of Rockefellers.

Note: Be prepared to walk on uneven surfaces. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress warmly.

Breakfast: A hearty country breakfast will be served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Morning: Board the charter bus for Sleepy Hollow, New York to immerse yourself in the Rockefeller mansion, gardens, and sculptures at Kykuit. The docent-led visit includes the morning and brook gardens, the Italian garden, the Adam and Eve fountain area, as well as several terraced areas featuring classical and contemporary sculptures. The group will be divided into several groups to allow for a more intimate visit to this spectacular site.

Lunch: Board the bus for lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: After returning to The Warwick Conference Center enjoy a bit of quiet time and then return to the classroom for a lecture on the topic: "Grounds for Sculpture" and discuss the sculptures seen earlier in the day at the Kykuit estate.

Dinner: Dinner will be served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: Enjoy a relaxing evening of entertainment and then "top off" the day by making your own ice cream sundae.

Day Six: Friday, October 31 -
Breakfast: Breakfast will be served in the East House Dining Hall.

Lunch: Lunch will be served at 11:00 a.m. in the East House Dining Hall. Departure and farewells immediately after lunch.
