Description: University apartment style residence (fully furnished) with four single occupancy bedrooms and common living room, kitchen and bathroom (one full bathroom with tub, shower, sink and toilet plus a 2nd bathroom with only toilet and sink). Each person has a set of keys for the apartment and a personal key for his/her bedroom. The apartments are approximately 15 - 25 minute walk to restaurants, drug store, grocery store and shopping centre. Taxis are also available on campus. MEALS: During the week breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the University cafeteria’s private cafeteria - the bistro. This private area is closed on weekends. Participants need to buy their own meals in restaurants nearby or at the supermarket. For those who are participating to day trips during the weekends, restaurant reservations are made for the groups and participants pay for their own meals. Day Two: Monday, May 25 - Placement Test/Orientation and First French Class...
Note: Classes are three hours every morning, Monday to Friday (8:30 - 11:30). Each afternoon, you will practice what you just learned in the morning; either by joining workshops or during field trips. You will experience French Immersion at its fullest as all guided tours and field trips are conducted in French.

Breakfast: Breakfast at Cafeteria

Morning: Program orientation and French placement test followed by a campus visit. You will be given a language placement test to determine your French level. The group will then be divided in three separate classes: Beginner, Intermediate and advanced. Class sizes are between 5 and 17 students per class depending on the total number of registration.

Afternoon: Classes: French As A Foreign Language. Student cards will be issued.

Dinner: Dinner at Cafeteria

Evening: French movie screening or homework assistance workshop (optional).

Morning: Travel by deluxe coach to Montreal. Our first stop will be at Montreal’s botanical garden. An oasis in the middle of the city, it is recognized as one of the largest and most beautiful in the world. Its rich collection of 22,000 plant species and cultivars, its 10 exhibition greenhouses, Tree House, and some 30 thematic gardens make the venue exceptional. Morning: Travel by deluxe coach to Quebec City to explore the only fortified city in North America. Québec City has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit le Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec. Surrounded by the Plains of Abraham, the MNBAQ holds a collection of 37,000 works dating from the 17th century to the present. Lunch: Lunch will be at Restaurant du Musée. Flavorful blends, fresh produce and elegant presentation are the team's watchwords. Dinner: Enjoy a farewell dinner and evening in an authentic sugar shack! Sample traditional Quebec country cooking in a cozy, cheerful atmosphere and learn about the old and new methods of making maple syrup. Folk Music, Dance and Diploma ceremony. Not to be missed!
