Day One: Sunday, October 12 - Registration/Orientation
Afternoon: Note: All itinerary details subject to change. Arrive at The Warwick Conference Center in late afternoon for check-in beginning at 4:30 p.m. Enjoy a Wine and Cheese Reception and introduce yourself to fellow participants.

Dinner: Dinner is in the East House Dining Hall. Enjoy a bountiful buffet with entrées varying from turkey, pork, chicken, beef, and fish. Dinner will include a fresh salad bar, vegetables, potatoes, rolls, and dessert. All meals at The Warwick Conference Center include a vegetarian option.

Evening: (All itinerary details subject to change.) Following dinner there will be a time of introductions and an orientation session to familiarize everyone with The Warwick Conference and the week's activities.

Day Two: Monday, October 13 -
Breakfast: Wake up to a hearty breakfast buffet. Daily entrées will rotate, but you can look forward to a variety of breakfast foods including scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, ham, bacon, oatmeal, toast, muffins, yogurt, cold cereal, and hot coffee, tea, and orange juice.

Morning: Expert-led lecture and slides shown of present Hudson Valley Mansions and those which no longer exist. Break. Enjoy an expert-led lecture on America's Robber Barons, The Captains of Industry, and learn how they influenced each other, their workers, and the 19th century for good and bad.

Lunch: Enjoy a buffet lunch in the East House Dining Hall with entrées including a variety of the following: soup, sandwiches, paninis, pasta, salad bar, and a dessert.

Afternoon: Expert-led lecture focusing on the life of a 19-century "robber baron" and learn about their relations with the government, working man, and their creation of opportunities and hardships. Break. Enjoy some personal time for relaxing, contemplating lectures given or hike the beautiful trails at The Warwick Conference Center.

Dinner: A plentiful buffet dinner will be served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: Our architectural historian will present a lecture and show slides of Hudson River Mansions preparing us for our visits to the mansions that we will be visiting this week. Enjoy an evening snack to end the day.

Enjoy a docent-led visit to Wilderstein, home of the Suckley family and also enjoy the magnificence of Mills Mansion, home of Ogden and Ruth Livingston Mills.

Breakfast: Enjoy a hearty country breakfast served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Morning: Board charter bus for Rhinecliff, New York. Enjoy a docent-led visit to Wilderstein, a Queen Anne mansion with Tiffany interiors; home of the Suckley family and Margaret Suckley, closest companion to FDR.

Lunch: Lunch on the Veranda at Wilderstein.

Afternoon: Board bus for Staatsburgh, New York. Enjoy a docent-led visit to Mills Mansion, the gilded age country home of Louise and Ogden Livingston Mills, financier and philanthropist. Return to the Warwick Conference Center.

Dinner: Dinner served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: Enjoy a night of entertainment followed by an evening snack.

Day Four: Wednesday, October 15 - Visit the spring and fall "get away" home of Fred...
Visit the spring and fall "get away" home of Frederick and Louise Vanderbilt in Hyde Park, New York. Enjoy visiting the home of FDR and the newly renovated FDR museum also in Hyde Park, New York.

Breakfast: Enjoy a hearty country breakfast served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Morning: Board charter bus to Hyde Park, New York. Enjoy an expert-led visit to the Vanderbilt Mansion, the majestic 19th century mansion of Frederick and Louise Vanderbilt situated along the beautiful Hudson River. Walk to the beautiful Italian gardens, enjoy the gift shop, and the small exhibit in the Visitor Center.

Lunch: Enjoy a box lunch at the Henry A Wallace Visitor Center.

Afternoon: Experience a docent-led visit of FDR's Springwood. After the mansion tour, visit the newly renovated FDR museum, Rose Garden where FDR and Eleanor are buried, and the Carriage House. At the Henry A Wallace Visitor Center, see the documentary film on the life of FDR and visit the extensive Gift Shop. Board charter bus for The Warwick Conference Center.

Dinner: Enjoy a late dinner at one of Warwick's finest restaurants, the Zagat rated The Landmark Inn, whose chef/owner is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.

Evening: After a relaxing dinner, return to The Warwick Conference Center to prepare for the next day.

Day Five: Thursday, October 16 - Lyndhurst Mansion/Kykuit Mansion
Breakfast: A hearty country breakfast will be served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Morning: Board the charter bus for Sleepy Hollow, New York. We will be divided into three groups so that you can enjoy an intimate docent-led visit to Kykuit, the home of four generations of the Rockefeller family. Enjoy the architecture, remarkable gardens, and the extensive art collection assembled by art connoisseur, Nelson A. Rockefeller.

Lunch: Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Board the charter bus for Tarrytown, New York. Enjoy a docent-led visit to Lyndhurst, America's finest Gothic Revival mansion and magnificent Hudson Valley estate of railroad magnate Jay Gould.

Dinner: Dinner served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: Free time to reflect on the week's activities with fellow participants and enjoy an ice cream social making your own sundaes to enjoy as a snack.

Day Six: Friday, October 17 -
Breakfast: Breakfast served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Morning: Learn from an expert-led lecture on the music of the gilded age and the favorite music of the moneyed.
