Day One: Sunday, July 06 -
Afternoon: Arrive at The Warwick Conference Center in late afternoon for check-in beginning at 4:30 p.m. and continuing to 6:00 p.m. Enjoy a Wine and Cheese Reception and introduce yourself to fellow participants.

Dinner: Dinner is in the East House Dining Hall. Enjoy a bountiful buffet with entrées varying from turkey, pork, chicken, beef, and fish. Dinner will include a fresh salad bar, vegetables, potatoes, rolls, and dessert. All meals at The Warwick Conference Center include a vegetarian option.

Evening: (All itinerary details subject to change.) Following dinner there will be a time of introductions and an orientation session to familiarize everyone with The Warwick Conference Center and the week's activities.

Day Two: Monday, July 07 -
Breakfast: Wake up to a hearty breakfast buffet. Daily entrées will rotate, but you can look forward to a variety of breakfast foods including scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, ham, bacon, oatmeal, toast, muffins, yogurt, cold cereal, and hot coffee, tea, and a variety of juices.

Morning: The first watercolor class in the Assembly Hall will begin with a review of several techniques including mixing colors, wet on wet process, and then beginning your first painting.

Lunch: Enjoy a buffet lunch in the East House Dining Hall with entrées including a variety of the following: soup, sandwiches, paninis, pasta, salad bar, and a dessert.

Afternoon: After a short break, enjoy a hands-on-painting experience under the watchful eye of the artist who will encouragingly critique. Enjoy a demonstration and expert-led lecture.

Dinner: A plentiful buffet dinner will be served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: Following dinner the watercolor class will continue in the lower level Assembly Hall. Among other topics you will learn about negative and positive space and color theory through a demonstration and hands-on experience. After class enjoy an evening snack in the East House Dining hall. An optional introduction to Pacem in Terris will be held in preparation for tomorrows visit via DVD entitled "The Art of Being Human."

Day Three: Tuesday, July 08 - Meet local watercolor artist, Arthur Gilmore, who...
Meet local watercolor artist, Arthur Gilmore, who will share his history as an artist and present a demonstration as well as exhibit some of his work.

Breakfast: Wake up to a hearty breakfast served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Morning: The morning lecture by the artist will include a demonstration and hands-on experience with expert guidance and critiques.

Lunch: Lunch served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Afternoon: Enjoy a bit of rest time after lunch and reconvene at 3:30 p.m.to meet local watercolorist, Arthur Gilmore, who will present a demonstration and offer an exhibit of some of his paintings.

Dinner: Dinner served buffet style at 6:00 P.M. in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: The evening comprises an expert-led lecture on watercolor instruction and includes hands-on experiences. An evening snack will be served in the Eat House Dining Hall.

Day Four: Wednesday, July 09 - Enjoy a visit to Pacem in Terris, a six-acre scul...
Enjoy a visit to Pacem in Terris, a six-acre sculpture garden dedicated to Peace, created by Dutch sculptor, painter, and author, Dr. Frederick Franck.

Note: The sculpture garden is located in a beautiful wooded setting, however, the ground is uneven.

Breakfast: A hearty country breakfast will be served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Morning: Expert-led lecture and watercolor demonstration including a discussion on landscape, movement, shapes, and shadows along with hands-on experiences under the guidance of the artist.

Lunch: Lunch served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Afternoon: An optional visit will be made to Pacem in Terris, a six-acre sculpture garden. Dr. Franck, a Dutch-born sculptor, painter, and author created Pacem in Terris, a retreat dedicated to peace and art. The garden contains some 70 large-scale sculptures in steel, stone, wood, and glass. Enjoy the sculpture garden and the grounds; and for those who wish, there is an opportunity to sketch and paint. The Watercolor Workshop will remain open for independent work.

Dinner: Dinner will be served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: Evening entertainment followed by a delicious snack in the East House Dining Room.

Morning: Continue learning with an expert-led lecture and demonstration followed by hands-on-experience.

Lunch: Lunch will be served buffet style in the East House DIning Hall.

Afternoon: Visit The Warwick Conference Center's Watercolor Art Gallery with explanation and critique by the artist/instructor followed by a lecture, demonstration, and hands-on-experience in the Watercolor Workshop.

Dinner: Dinner will be served at 6:00 P.M. in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: The evening comprises an expert-led lecture on watercolor instruction and includes hands-on experiences. An evening snack will be served in the East House Dining Hall.
