Day One: Sunday, September 14 - Independent Arrivals / Orientation / Welcome Dinn...
Independent Arrivals / Orientation / Welcome Dinner / Evening Presentation

Afternoon: Check in anytime after 4:00 p.m. Orientation will begin at 5:00 in the Terrace Room. The Group Leader will greet you with a warm welcome and lead introductions. We will review the up-to-date daily program schedule and any changes, discuss responsibilities, safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and answer any questions you may have. During free time, the Group Leader will often be available to guide informal excursions, activities, or meals not included in the program. You are welcome to join if you wish, with associated costs (if any) on your own, or explore independently. Please be aware that program activities and scheduled times could change due to local circumstances. In the event of changes, we will alert you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Dinner: Our opening dinner will follow Orientation in the Terrace Room. Enjoy an American Style buffet. Vegetarian and Gluten - Free options available pre-requested.

Evening: This evening we'll be treated to a presentation on a fascinating overview of the Crown of the Continent.

Day Two: Monday, September 15 - Hiking field trip in Glacier National Park / Even...
Breakfast: Enjoy a tasty breakfast buffet with choices of whole grain breads and bagels, a variety of yogurts, cold cereals, granola, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, and a rotation of fresh sliced fruit. Cranberry juice, orange juice, milk, coffee and hot tea will also be available. Each morning at breakfast there will be a ‘semi-build-your-own lunch bar’ where participants will be able to choose their sides that will accompany the fresh sandwich wraps that will be already made up for them by the Belton Chalet staff.

Morning: This morning we'll head to Logan Pass to hike the Hidden Lake trails. Hidden Lake Overlook and trail are spectacular with a combination of alpine meadows, argillite and ripple-marked rocks from the ancient Belt Sea. The upper trail climbs past moraines and waterfalls. Keep your eyes peeled for mountain goats that like the steep area. Hike ranges from 3 to 6 miles round trip and will have an elevation gain anywhere from 460' to 800' depending on trail choice. Trails subject to change.

Lunch: Enjoy pre-selected sack lunches made fresh with sandwich or wrap, sides, piece of fruit and a bottle of water.

Afternoon: Continuation of hikes and return trip to Belton Chalet.

Dinner: At the Chalet.

Evening: This evening we'll learn more about Glacier National Park with a presentation by a local expert.

Day Three: Tuesday, September 16 - Hiking field trip in Glacier National Park / Free...
Breakfast: At the Chalet.

Morning: This morning you'll choose between a hike at Siyeh Pass or Piegan Pass. Piegan Pass, named for the Piegan tribe of Blackfeet, is a hike that crosses through subalpine forests and meadows bursting with wildflowers. As the trail gains altitude, Piegan Glacier is visible above. Siyeh Pass trail splits from the Piegan trail and crosses through an array of different ecosystems, virtually portraying the park's diversity in one hike. Hikes range from 9 to 10.3 miles round trip depending on trail length choice. Elevation gain will range between 1600' and 2400'. Trails subject to change.

Lunch: Enjoy pre-selected sack lunches made fresh with sandwich or wrap, sides, piece of fruit and beverage.

Afternoon: Continuation of hikes and return trip to Belton Chalet.

Dinner: At the Chalet.

Evening: Free evening. Take this opportunity for personal independent exploration to see and do what interests you most. Please feel free to ask the Group Leader for free time activity suggestions.

Day Four: Wednesday, September 17 - Hiking field trip in Glacier National Park / Even...
Breakfast: At the Chalet.

Morning: This morning we'll head around the southern tip of Glacier National Park to the Two Medicine area. Hiking at Two Medicine is in a class by itself. Here, hikers find a remote solitude even on the most crowded hot summer days. Twin Falls hike is a shorter hike that takes you to a double flume of cascades. Continuing on the Upper Two Medicine Trail you'll discover avalanche gullies and a back country beauty. Hikes range from 3.6 to 9.8 miles round trip depending on trail length choice. Elevation gain will range between 80' and 500'. Trails subject to change.

Lunch: Enjoy pre-selected sack lunches made fresh with sandwich or wrap, sides, piece of fruit and beverage.

Afternoon: Continuation of hikes and return trip to Belton Chalet.

Dinner: At the Chalet.

Evening: After dinner we'll have a presentation covering more of the historic cultures and entertaining stories of Glacier National Park and the surrounding area.

Day Five: Thursday, September 18 - Hiking field trip in Glacier National Park / Free...
Breakfast: At the Chalet.

Morning: This morning we'll head back up to Logan Pass via the Going-to-the-Sun Road to hike the Highline and Haystack Trail. This trail is wildflower packed with high cliffs running along the Garden Wall. This trail has great potential for spotting bears. Hikes range from 5 to 11.6 miles round trip depending on trail length choice. Elevation gain will range between 600' and 800'. Trails subject to change.

Lunch: Enjoy pre-selected sack lunches made fresh with sandwich or wrap, sides, piece of fruit and beverage.

Afternoon: Continuation of hikes and return trip to Belton Chalet.

Dinner: At the Chalet.

Evening: Free evening. Take this opportunity for personal independent exploration to see and do what interests you most. Please feel free to ask the Group Leader for free time activity suggestions.

Day Six: Friday, September 19 - Hiking field trip in Glacier National Park / Orga...
Breakfast: At the Chalet.

Morning: This morning we'll head to a very low populated hike in the Marias Pass area. Autumn Creek trail enters near Bear Creek and runs below Elk Mountain. This hike will be a 6 mile round trip hike with a 240' to 1040' elevation gain depending on route choice. Trails subject to change.

Lunch: Enjoy pre-selected sack lunches made fresh with sandwich or wrap, sides, piece of fruit and beverage.

Afternoon: Continuation of hikes and return trip to Belton Chalet. Later this afternoon we'll enjoy an Organic Wine Tasting Class with a local wine expert at the Belton Chalet.

Dinner: We'll enjoy a last evening together as we celebrate with a final banquet at the Chalet.

Day Seven: Saturday, September 20 - Breakfast / Independent Departures
Breakfast: At the Chalet.

Morning: The program concludes with breakfast, followed by independent departures.
