Arrive on Jekyll Island, GA and check into the Hampton Inn & Suites. Dinner and orientation will follow.

Afternoon: Arrive on Jekyll Island, GA and check into the Hampton Inn. Dinner and orientation will follow.

Dinner: A delicious dinner will be served in a banquet room at the historic Jekyll Island Club. The Club Hotel is Jekyll Island's only four-star resort and National Historic Landmark. Enjoy elegant surroundings and simple pleasures. Its impressive members included such luminaries as J.P. Morgan, William Rockefeller, Vincent Astor, Joseph Pulitzer and William K. Vanderbilt. Other recognizable names on the roster were Macy, Goodyear and Gould.

Evening: Orientation will follow dinner. We will discuss program details and activities for the week. It’s time to start discovering why bridge is a famous game. We’ll give you a little overview of what you can expect over the next few days.

Day Two: Monday, October 13 - Golf Instruction and18 Holes of Golf
Breakfast: Choose from a variety of delicious breakfast items, including freshly made waffles*, hearty oatmeal with toppings*, and enjoy all the juice or coffee you can drink. Muffins, Danish, bagels, yogurt and fruit are always available. Chafered items vary from day to day.

Morning: Depart for Jekyll Island Golf facility. Instruction begins at 9:00 a.m.with putting and full swing set-up fundamentals. We also cover course management.

Lunch: Lunch at the golf course restaurant.

Afternoon: Jekyll Island has been a golf destination since 1898, when Jekyll Island Club members added the first course on the island. Today, Jekyll Island boasts 63 holes of golf on three 18-hole courses and one 9-hole course. The 18 hole courses are Pine Lakes (renovated in 2002), Indian Mound (named after the oyster shell middens left by native peoples), or the popular Oleander (on the grounds of the 34th oldest course in the US. The group will play 18 holes.

Dinner: Enjoy a plated dinner served at the hotel.

Evening: Enjoy a lively lecture about colonial dress as the instructor dresses a participant in the appropriate attire for the historical era.

Day Three: Tuesday, October 14 - Golf instruction/18Holes of Golf/Lecture
Breakfast: Choose from a variety of delicious breakfast items, including freshly made waffles*, hearty oatmeal with toppings*, and enjoy all the juice or coffee you can drink. Muffins, Danish, bagels, yogurt and fruit are always available. Chafered items vary from day to day.

Morning: Participants will work on short game, i.e. chipping and pitching, and full swing mechanics.

Lunch: Lunch at the golf course restaurant.

Afternoon: The group will play 18 holes of golf.

Dinner: Enjoy dinner at a favorite local restaurant.

Evening: Situated between St. Simons Island and Cumberland Island, Jekyll Island boasts of a salt marsh characteristic of the southeastern seaboard and a beach with the Atlantic Ocean lapping its shores. At 5,700 acres and a 33% limit on business development, Jekyll is the smallest of Georgia’s barrier islands, yet resplendent with moss draped live oaks, marshes and remote beaches with natural sand dunes and indigenous wildlife.

Morning: Instructors will cover bunker shots and drivers/fairway woods.

Afternoon: This is the ideal time to discover the island’s pristine beaches and nature reserves, or pay a visit to the historic district.

Dinner: One dinner is open for you to explore on your own at award winning restaurants on Jekyll Island or St Simon's.

Evening: The evening will be free.

Morning: Video swing analysis, using V1 computer software and instuctors will conduct a question and answer session.

Afternoon: The group will play 18 holes of golf.

Dinner: Enjoy a plated dinner served at the hotel.

Evening: An entertaining program will be held.

General OverviewJekyll Island's Historic District has several speciality shops as well as the Jekyll Island Club Hotel, once the clubhouse for many of America's elite business men. Other areas of interest located near Jekyll Island are St. Simons Island, home to several historic places including Fort Frederica, Bloody Marsh Battle site, etc. There are also other interesting islands located near Jekyll Island including Sapelo Island where you will find a plantation once owned by R. J. Reynolds and Cumberland Island home to many wild horses. Other areas of interest near Jekyll Island include Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation, an old rice plantation and Brunswick Georgia which has many historic buildings and landmarks as well as several antique shops. Jekyll Island is located approximately one hour south of Historic Savannah Georgia.
