Day One: Friday, October 04 - Arrive in Albuquerque/Orientation and Introductions 
Arrive To: Check in at the hotel any time after 3:00 PM; register between 4:00 and 5:30 PM with program's group leader in designated area at hotel.

There may be a brief delay in room readiness as the hotel is usually full all during the event.

Dinner: Dinner at the hotel from 6:00-7:00 PM

Evening: From 7:00-8:30 PM, we'll have a program orientation and introductions, plus a short video about "Balloon Fiesta: What to Expect" that will prepare you for Balloon Fiesta activities and events.

Day Two: Saturday, October 05 - Dawn Patrol at Balloon Fiesta Park/Mass Ascension/Balloon... 
Dawn Patrol at Balloon Fiesta Park/Mass Ascension/Balloon Glow/Fireworks

Note: Walking up to one mile over uneven packed dirt terrain at Balloon Park; standing up to one hour at each event (bring a cane/chair or small folding stool if you can't stand for long periods of time).

Breakfast: Boxed breakfast from the hotel

Morning: EARLY morning departure for Balloon Fiesta park for Dawn Patrol, Morning Glow, Opening Ceremonies, and Mass Ascension of all balloons.

At 9:00 AM bus departs for return to the hotel where you'll have some free time from 9:30-10:30 AM. At 10:30, you'll depart for a visit to the National Hispanic Cultural Center and lunch at a selected restaurant.

Lunch: Lunch at a selected restaurant

Afternoon: Bus returns to the hotel after lunch. From 2:00-4:30 PM, there will be two lectures in the hotel meeting room: "Albuquerque's International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta" and "Albuquerque's Amazing History." At 5:00 PM, the bus will depart for Balloon Fiesta Park.

Dinner: Dinner will be "on your own" at Balloon Fiesta Park. There are many vendors selling food and drink at the park, so you'll have many choices.

Evening: As soon as it begins to get dark, all the balloons will inflate in the darkness for the Twilight Twinkle Glow, followed by the AfterGlow Fireworks Show.

Bus will depart for the hotel after the fireworks show.

Day Three: Sunday, October 06 - Balloon Park/Dawn Patrol Show and Mass Ascension/Indian Pueblo... 
Balloon Park/Dawn Patrol Show and Mass Ascension/Indian Pueblo Cultural Center/Old Town

Note: Walking over packed dirt and paved terrain up to one mile over course of the day; standing at Pueblo Cultural Center up to one hour.

Breakfast: Box breakfast from hotel

Morning: EARLY morning bus departure for Balloon Fiesta Park. Morning activities include Dawn Patrol Show, the Morning Glow and Mass Ascension.

You'll visit the Anderson-Abruzzo Balloon Museum from 9:30-10:30 AM prior to returning to hotel for some relaxation time from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM.

At 12:30 PM, board bus for lunch destination.

Lunch: Lunch at a selected restaurant from 1:00-2:00 PM

Afternoon: After lunch, bus departs for an excursion to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and to Albuquerque's historical Old Town. Bus returns to hotel at 5:00 PM.

Dinner: Dinner at the hotel from 6:00-7:00 PM

Evening: From 7:00-9:00 PM, we'll have our program closing in hotel meeting room followed by videos about ballooning and its history.

Lodging: MCM Elegante Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day Four: Monday, October 07 - Breakfast and Departure 
Depart From: Independent departures.

Hotel offers free shuttle service to Albuquerque International Sunport.

Checkout time is 12:00 PM.
