Day Four: Sunday, January 19 - Bali, Indonesia. 
Breakfast: Breakfast in hotel dining room.

Morning: Take in a traditional Barong and Keris dance performance in the village of Batubulan. This dance describes the eternal struggle between good (represented by the Barong Keket - a half shaggy dog, half lion) and evil (represented by the Rangda or witch) and ends with scene where the kris (a wavy-bladed, traditional dagger) dancers fall into a trance alternatingly trying to kill themselves and the Rangda. Afterwards witness age old wood carving techniques at Mas village.

Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Kintamani while taking in breathtaking views of the nearby lake, Danau Batur, which is formed from a caldera (a volcanic crater).

Afternoon: Explore the pilgrimage site of Gunung Kawi, which is one of Bali's oldest and largest monuments. It consists of 10 rock-cut candi (shrines) that are cut out of the rock face and measure at an impressive 26 feet tall!

Morning: Unearth history at the elaborate Taman Ayun Temple, which was built in 1634 and served as the main temple for the Mengwi Kingdom. It has three ascending levels of spacious courtyards containing rows of shrines and is surrounded by a wide, elegant moat. Afterwards, quench your thirst with fresh coconut juice at the picturesque Tanah Lot Temple. This temple is one of the holiest in Bali, built upon a huge rock, waves crash at its feet as it is surrounded by the sea.

Lunch: Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Transfer back to hotel and enjoy some free time to explore or relax.

Day Seven: Wednesday, January 22 - Lombok, Indonesia 
Breakfast: Breakfast on board.

Morning: Little is known about the Lombok before the seventeenth century. Before this time it was made up of numerous feuding petty states each of which were presided over by a Sasak 'prince' and this disunity was taken advantage of by the neighboring Balinese who took control of western Lombok in the early seventeenth century. The entire island was annexed to the Netherlands East Indies in 1895 and the Dutch ruled over Lombok's 500,000 people with a force of no more than 250 by cultivating the support of the Balinese and Sasak aristocracy. Mataram is the capital and main city of Lombok. Your excursion will include the Nusa Tenggara Barat Museum to see its collection of local artifacts, a traditional market and Lingsar, a large temple complex built in 1714.

Afternoon: Formerly known as Makassar, this port was once an important center of the Dutch spice trade and in the sixteenth century was one of the largest cities in the islands of Southeast Asia. Sulawesi's colorful history is the story of spices and foreign merchants of mariners and sultans and of foreign power wresting control of the spice trade. Day Nine: Friday, January 24 - Pare Pare, Indonesia 
Breakfast: Breakfast on board.

Morning: Some of the most amazing cultural customs in the world are found in Southern Sulawesi where the Toraja live, a people who practice a form of animism known as Aluk To Dolo (Way of the Ancestors). Venture into the mountainous interior to discover their elaborate funeral rites, burial sites carved into cliffs and eerie wood effigies called tau tau, said to embody ancestor spirits. Morning: Located on the east coast of Borneo, Sandakan is our gateway to the natural wonders of this beautiful island. From here you will visit the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre and come face-to-face with our most engaging ancestors, orangutans. There are up to 80 of these primates known as the “Wildmen of Borneo” in the reserve, so you will be able to observe them in their natural habitat. On your return, enjoy a short orientation drive through the town of Sandakan, ending at the Central Market.

Day Thirty Two: Sunday, February 16 - Siem Reap, Cambodia 
Breakfast: Breakfast in hotel dining room.

Morning: Transfer to airport for an 11:35 AM flight to Siem Reap (estimated arrival 12:35 PM). Transfer to hotel.

Lunch: Lunch in hotel dining room.

Afternoon: Visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom. This city was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman II. This city is surrounded by a 26 foot high wall, with each side of the city being 2.5 miles long, forming a perfect square. Enter the city through the ancient South Gate. Continue to the exact center of the city to find the Bayon Temple. This temple is unique because of the 54 towers with four faces representing the 54 provinces of the then Great Khmer Empire. The Terrace of the Elephants and The Terrace of the Leper King are also a must, as they are both known for their intricate bas-reliefs. Afterwards, partake in a very special ceremony in which Buddhist monks will perform a private blessing ceremony for you, wishing you health and safety during your journey.

Day Thirty Three: Monday, February 17 - Siem Reap, Cambodia 
Breakfast: Breakfast in hotel dining room.

Morning: Continue to the legendary Angkor Wat. Built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, Angkor Wat is constructed following the model of the temple mountain symbolizing Mount Meru, the home of the gods. Inside the temple, the walls are covered with stone carving and bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology and the ways Suryavarman II fought during his reign. Angkor Wat is well known for the more than 2,000 Apsara dancers decorating the temple. Construction is thought to have taken around 30 years of intensive labor. Today, Angkor Wat is featured on the Cambodian national flag as it symbolizes the soul of the Khmer people.

Lunch: Lunch at Champey restaurant.

Afternoon: Travel to the gem of the Angkor area, the beautiful temple of Banteay Srey, which is best viewed in the warm morning light. The so-called "Citadel of the Women" was built between the 11th and 13th century and reamins the best preserved temple in Cambodia. It displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art and this small temple is noted for its truly remarkable fine bas-reliefs depicting the Hindu god Shiva. Banteay Srey is unique because of the pink sandstone used in its construction and which is not seen anywhere else in Angkor. On the way back to Siem Reap, stop at the Landmine Museum where the museum's founder, Mr. Aki Ra, was a child soldier during the Khmer Rouge regime and is working today as a de-miner. The museum also serves as a rescue center for a number of landmine amputee children that Aki Ra has brought off Phnom Penh's streets or from impoverished rural communities.

Day Thirty Four: Tuesday, February 18 - Siem Reap, Cambodia / TonlĂ© Sap Lake.  
Breakfast: Breakfast in hotel dining room.

Morning: This morning, explore the Ta Prohm temple which is unique because it has been largely left as it was found: overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground. Next, visit the Angkor National Museum, which showcases artifacts from the Golden Era of the Khmer Empire.

Lunch: Lunch at Square 24 restaurant.

Afternoon: Embark on a fascinating boat ride on the Tonlé Sap Lake, where you will learn about life on the lake. Tonlé Sap is South East Asia's largest freshwater lake and its size varies greatly between seasons, sometimes swelling up to four times its original size during the wet season! Visit the small village of Kampong Phluck where you will see houses built on stilts to protect them from Tonlé Sap Lake's ebb and flow. On the way, you will pass floating houses and impressive flooded forests. Next, visit Artisans d'Angkor, an organization that supports Cambodian arts and crafts, and helps young people find work in their local villages by continuing the practice of traditional arts. Learn about Cambodian wood and stone carving, wood and stone lacquering, gilding, and silk processing.

Dinner: Farewell dinner at the Viroth restaurant.
