Day Four: Wednesday, August 07 - Farce on Broadway / Field Trip / Matinee Theater Performance
Note: Theater/restaurant complex is ramped for easy access.

Breakfast: At 8:00 am in the lower level dining room.

Morning: Gather in the meeting room for a forty-five-minute lecture on FARCE ON BROADWAY. Then board our motor coach at 10:00 am for a sixty-minute ride to nearby Fort Atkinson and The Fireside Theater. Started in 1964 by Dick and Betty Klopcic as just a pyramid-shaped restaurant, this family-run business has grown to include a 1000 seat restaurant, a 600 seat equity dinner theater and unique shops. Now run by Dick and Betty's son Rick and his wife Jane, the Fireside tradition of excellence continues with 5-6 professional productions each year, fine dining and offers its guests a place to create cherished memories. The Fireside's motto: People will come to a place they have been invited and will return to a place where they have been made to feel welcome.

Lunch: Plated lunch at The Fireside Theater served at 11:15 am. Today's menu includes your choice of coffee, tea or milk and fresh baked bread. Please talk to your Group Leader in advance if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions. Menu: Cream of watercress soup, beef tenderloin and chicken breast served with potato and fresh vegetable, and carrot cake served with ice cream.

Afternoon: Enjoy a MATINEE PERFORMANCE of the hit comedy RUN FOR YOUR WIFE beginning at 1:30 pm. This may possibly be the funniest comedy ever written! Unassuming cab driver John Smith is mugged one day and is taken home by a helpful policeman. Unfortunately the policeman takes him to the wrong home - because unassuming John Smith has two homes and two wives and according to his carefully laid out schedule on this particular day he is supposed to be with Wife #2 but he finds himself with Wife #1 while worried Wife #2 searches desperately for him. Confused? Don’t worry because it will all come together in this hilarious collection of mistaken identities as Mr. Smith tries to juggle two wives, two apartments, and two very suspicious police detectives. You will laugh till it hurts and then laugh some more at this rollicking comic masterpiece.

Dinner: At 6:00 pm in the lower level dining room.

Evening: After a busy day at the theater you can relax and read, play a board game or come to the meeting room at 7:00 pm to watch a movie.
