- Wildflowers, Vineyards,and Geology of the Texas Hill Country
Breakfast:

Morning:
Presentation on wildflowers with master naturalist followed by a drive through the scenic countryside to see some spectacular wildflowers in bloom. Photographic opportunities abound with fields of vibrant color. See the Texas Bluebonnet, Indian Paintbrush, White Prickly Poppy and much more.
Lunch:
A chance to taste the flavor of the Hill Country at a local restaurant
Afternoon:
Guided tour of Grape Creek Vineyard; meet the vintners and gain an understanding of the production process. Tour the first underground wine cellar in the Pedernales River Valley. Enjoy a wine tasting while taking in spectacular views of the the rolling hills and natural landscape of the area.
Dinner:
Sample some traditional German food.

Meet with local historian and hear about the early settlers of Fredericksburg, Texas

- Nature trails, Wildseed Farm, Vineyard tour & tasting

Riverside Nature Center is located in the heart of Kerrville on the Guadalupe River This former small farm has been transformed into an urban wildlife and native plant sanctuary with a unique arboretum hosting over 140 species of trees as well as cacti, glorious wildflowers, shrubs, native grasses, birds, insects and other animals. Meandering walking trails lead you through the Nature Center and down to the banks of the beautiful Guadalupe River.
Lunch:
Enjoy a Mexican Fiesta lunch
Afternoon:
A photographic experience awaits at the Wildseed Farm. The largest working wildflower farm in the U.S with over 200 acres of stunning seasonal wildflowers. Meander along the trails of Texas blue bonnets, red corn poppies and phlox and more. Award winning Becker Vineyards offer a selection of tantalizing wines to savor and experts will explain their wine processing. Fields of lavender surround the vineyard.
