Arrive To: Check-in at the front desk in main lobby between 3-5pm in the main lobby. Then, register with the group leader and pick up your welcome packets.

Evening: Evening 7:30 PM Presentation- Discuss DC's Masonic roots with a 33rd degree Mason. Explore the influence Masonic teachings had on our nation's founding fathers, and examine the masonic symbolism imbedded in the city planning by George Washington-commisioned architect, Pierre Charles L'Enfant.

Morning: Coach to the United States Capitol and explore the Rotunda with a guide the from United States Captiol historical society.

Lunch: Lunch at area restaurant

Afternoon: This afternoon, discover the nation's most iconic monuments and memorials on a fieldtrip through the National Mall with a local historian.

Dinner: Dinner at area restaurant

Evening: Evening lecture: D.C.'s epicenter of esionage extends far beyond Foggy Bottom. In Washington and the surrounding area, an estimated 17 million square feet of space is occupied by buildings desginated for top-secret intelligence work. With retired State Department official, Jon Wiant, delve into DC's Top-Secret world and examine the perils of covert action.

Washington National Cathederal / Tudor Place / Embassy Row Guided Walk / Washington Nationals Game

Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel

Morning: Fieldtrip to the Washington National Cathederal. See Woodrow Wilson's Tomb, marvel at the ironwork, and learn the history behind the country's "National House of Prayer".

Lunch: Lunch and tea at Tudor Place in Georgetown. Overlooking the Potomac river, the former residence of Martha Custis, granddaughter of Martha Washington, dates back to 1816. Tour the gardens, and then relax in the homes' historic rooms and enjoy a variety of tea blends accompanying tea sandwiches, scones, and petite deserts.

Afternoon: Before foreign governments began buying up the mansions on Massachusetts Avenue, DC's nouveau rich crowd were showcasing their fortunes in the nation's capital. After the depression, many of these familes were drained of their resources and forced to sell their mansions at a devastating loss-some for as little as 10 cents on a dollar. Hear tales from DC's "Gilded Age" and more on this guided walk down Embassy Row..

Evening: Washington Nationals vs. The Philadelphia Phillies.

Morning: As of 2006, the National Portrait Gallery and the Smithsonian American Art Musuem share a newly renovated historic landmark building in downtown DC. Visit both museums and hear from an expert discuss current exhibtions. This fall, numerous exhibitions will be commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. Your prepmats will provide a list of current exhibititons showing during your program.

Lunch: Lunch on your own followed by free time to continue exploriong the museums.

Afternoon: Go inside Ford's theatre and trace the events leading up to Lincoln's assasination on April 14th, 1865. Then, go across the street to the Petereon House where Lincoln died the following day.

Dinner: Dinner is on your own.

Day Five: Sunday, May 26 - Gospel Brunch at the Howard Theatre 
Note: Metro Use

Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel

Morning: Sunday Morning Gospel Brunch at the recently restored Howard Theater. From Duke Ellington and Ray Charles to Lena Horn and Sammy Davis Jr, the reopening of the "theater of the people", is symbolic of DC's urban restoration over the past decade. In addition to hosting prominent national acts such as Bill Cosby and Aretha Franklin, the theatre's on site kitchen will boast a flavorful menu thanks to the contributions of chef Marcus Samuelsson (Top Chef Masters) whos hospitality group is consulting on the menu for the supper club.

Lunch: At the Howard Theatre

Afternoon: Explore the city on your own, or go with your Group Leader for an optional excursion on U Street.

Dinner: Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant
