HOTEL CHECK-IN: from 4:00pm.
PROGRAM REGISTRATION at 4:30pm: After you have your room assignment, come over to the conference room to register with the program staff and pick up your arrival packet that will contain an updated schedule we'll review during orientation.
Dinner:
Wonderfully catered meal with entree, sides, desert, and drink will be served immediately after the first part of orientation.
Evening:
ORIENTATION: Following introductions, we’ll have an informative overview of the program and review the updated schedule, responsibilities, safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and any other administrative issues. We'll also have some fun get-acquainted activities.

GOLF INSTRUCTION: Begin your work with theThousand Hills PGA professional. Golf Class #1: Practice Tee/Short Game Area. Break. Golf Class #2: Practice Tee/Short Game Area. Work on swing, chipping, pitching, putting and all aspects of short game.

Lecture on the history of Branson Discover the shows that have made Branson the 'Live Entertainment Capitol' of the world. Look at how this sleepy little town is now host to over 100 shows, more theater seats than Broadway, and over 7 million visitors a year. The history will also include how Branson holds on to its roots while moving into the future. Presenter: Sarah Klinefelter, C of O Media Professor---

From novice to professional, three separate sets of tees will ensure that the course in Branson remains challenging yet fair for all golfers regardless of age or experience. GOLF INSTRUCTION: Working with PGA professionals, continue developing your skills with focus on the shot game and putting techniques. Practice shot "chip" shots, practice putting from both long and short distances with further refinement of grip, stance, and alignment.
Morning:
Lecture on the history of Murder Rock and the history of Alfred Bolin by renowned historian Dr. Fred Pfister.
Lunch:
Wonderful catered lunch with entrée, sides, dessert, and drink
Afternoon:
GOLF PLAY: Play 18 holes at one of the most intriguingly named courses: Murder Rock. There's a legend heard around the hollows of Branson Creek about Murder Rock, a place where Civil War bushwhacker Alfred Bolin and his gang were known to ambush travelers. Designed by Landmark Land Company Inc., the 18-hole Championship Golf Course at John Daly's Murder Rock Golf and Country Club enhances the magnificent landscape of the Ozark Mountains, incorporating the natural beauty of the land with lush fairways and pristine greens. The course plays to a Par 71, and ranges in length of 6,600 yards from the Tournament Tees to 5,000 yards from the Forward Tees. You’ll be treated to a wonderful variety of golf holes by design, exciting Par 5's, challenging Par 4's and dramatic Par 3's.

Lecture on the life and trials of being a golf course manager. Learn how and why decisions are made that affect you as a player and the course you love. Led by a local course manager.
Morning:
GOLF INSTRUCTION: Spend the first part of the morning with your PGA professional practicing the fundamentals of the full golf swing with woods and irons. Your PGA pro will also use practiced swing analysis to compare your golf swing to the top golf professionals in the game. The second part of the morning will be on-course in "real" playing conditions with your PGA professional

Afternoon:
GOLF PLAY: Pointe Royale is a true "shot-maker"course, lush bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways, with eight water holes, sand and grass bunkers, and tees for all levels of play, Pointe Royale is a world class golfing experience. This challenging 18-hole, 6,501 yard par 70 course is regarded as the original championship course in the Branson area and is maintained to a high level of standards. The course has 8 water holes and in all 12 out of the 18 have some type of water hazard. Overall the rolling fairways and mature trees offer quite a challenge to the average golfer, so remember, club selection and a good golf course strategy are a must. A large number of famous Branson stars live and play on the course so you never know who you will be teeing off next to!

Board a luxury bus for a drive by tour of Branson and the area. Included: The Lakes, the Chateau, Point Royal Housing (where the Branson stars live), College of the Ozarks, Downtown Branson.

Afternoon:
