Description: Adult conference and retreat center of Covenant Harbor Bible Camp. The camp is set on 51 beautiful, wooded acres on the shores of Geneva Lake with 1150 feet of lake frontage. Public access lakeside walking path provides close viewing of the historic lake mansions. Several historic building remain from the original Sturges family estate including the boathouse and carriage house.

Day One: Sunday, June 16 - Arrival/Welcome, Orientation and Introductions 
Afternoon: Plan to arrive in Lake Geneva in the afternoon. Check-in at Geneva Bay Centre at Covenant Harbor Bible Camp at 4:00 PM central time. Please, no early check-ins. If you do arrive early you are welcome to bring in your luggage, have a cup of coffee and wait in the lounge or take a walk down by the lake until your room is ready. Room key, name tag and program booklet distributed at check-in.

Dinner: At 6:00 pm in the lower level dining room. Most meals are buffet style. Grab a seat in the dining room and take your glass to the beverage center for your choice of soda, iced tea, coffee, tea or ice water. Meal times are a great opportunity to meet your fellow participants and talk about past programs you have attended.

Evening: After dinner, gather in the meeting room to kick off the program. Your Group Leader will give an overview of the program, provide additional information about your accommodations and answer any questions. Then you'll have a chance to introduce yourself to the group and tell a little about your hometown and hobbies.

Day Two: Monday, June 17 - Musical Partners/Free Time/Comedy Teams 
Breakfast: At 8:00 am in the lower level dining room.

Morning: LECTURE: Continue with Musical Partners. A 30-minute break provides an opportunity to take a walk around the grounds. Perhaps you'd like to see the historic carriage house from the original estate. LECTURE: Continue with Comedy Teams.

Lunch: Lunch in the dining room. Be sure to save room for a cookie.

Afternoon: FREE TIME: The afternoon is yours to enjoy lovely Lake Geneva and the surrounding area. For those interested, we've arranged to have the local tourist sightseeing boat stop at the Covenant Harbor pier to pick up passengers for a 1 hour narrated cruise along part of the Geneva Lake shore. No need for you to drive into town and contend with parking. The Covenant Harbor pier is about a 5 minute walk or we'll provide a golf cart to get you to the pier. Listen to stories of the wealthy who built along the lake and view some spectacular mansions. Sign up and pay for this optional event at ORIENTATION.

Dinner: Dinner in the dining room.

Evening: LECTURE: Continue with Comedy Teams. What a nice way to conclude the day -- with a laugh.

Day Three: Tuesday, June 18 - Political Couples/Musical Partners/Comedy Teams 
Breakfast: Breakfast in the dining room. The food at Geneva Bay Centre at Covenant Harbor is rated high by our participants. We offer a selection of hot and cold items each morning so you're sure to find something you like to get the day off to a great start. Maybe this morning it will be egg beaters, coffee, and a seat along the windows to watch the squirrels at play.

Morning: LECTURE: Start off the week with a dicussion about Political Couples who have shared the White House. Begin with George and Martha Washington. A 30-minute break between lectures provides an opportunity to take a walk along the lake path. LECTURE: Come back from the break and continue with Political Couples like Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt.

Lunch: Lunch in the dining room. Soup and salad?

Afternoon: LECTURE: Get your toes tapping with a lecture on musical partners - brilliant, yes; troubled, often. Wrap up the afternoon by taking a walk outside for some fresh air.

Dinner: Dinner at the dining room. Remember to pace yourself.

Evening: LECTURE: Start discussion of Comedy Teams.

Day Four: Wednesday, June 19 - Matinee Theater Performance/Evening Entertainment 
Note: Theater/restaurant complex is ramped for easy access.

Breakfast: At 8:00 am in the lower level dining room.

Morning: Continue lectures on MUSICAL PARTNERS. Look at the creative team of Allen Menken and Howard Ashaman, creators of the musical "Little Shop of Horrors." Then board our motor coach at 10:15 am for The Fireside Theater in nearby Fort Atkinson. Travel time is approximately one hour. Started in 1964 by Dick and Betty Klopcic as just a pyramid-shaped restaurant, this family-run business has grown to include a 1000 seat restaurant, a 600 seat equity dinner theater and unique shops. Now run by Dick and Betty's son Rick and his wife Jane, the Fireside tradition of excellence continues with 5-6 professional productions each year, fine dining and offers its guests a place to create cherished memories. The Fireside's motto: People will come to a place they have been invited and will return to a place where they have been made to feel welcome.

Lunch: Plated lunch at The Fireside Theater served at 11:15 am. Today's menu includes your choice of coffee, tea or milk and fresh baked bread. Please talk to your Group Leader in advance if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions. Menu: TBA.

Afternoon: MATINEE THEATER PERFORMANCE: Enjoy a matinee performance of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at The Fireside Theater. Performance begins at 1:30.

Dinner: Dinner in the dining room.

Evening: ENTERTAINMENT: Tonight we welcome Dr. Trevor Stephenson from Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Stephenson is a professional musician and Artistic Director of the Madison Bach Musicians. He plays the works of the great classical masters like Bach and Mozart on historically accurate instruments. His performance is half entertainment and half history lecture. You're sure to be amazed at his depth of knowledge and phenomenal keyboard skills. CDs will be available for purchase.

Morning: Continue lecture/discussion of POLITICAL COUPLES. Take a 30-minute break and then come back for the final lecture on POLITICAL COUPLES.

Lunch: Lunch in the dining room.

Afternoon: Continue lecture/discussion of MUSICAL PARTNERS. After a 30-minute break wrap up lectures about COMEDY TEAMS.

Dinner: Dinner in the dining room.

Evening: Evening entertainment TBA.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day Six: Friday, June 21 - Musical Partners / Departure 
Breakfast: Breakfast in the dining room. Perhaps you'll want just coffee, juice and toast today.

Morning: Wrap up the program with two one-hour sessions on MUSICAL PARTNERS. A 30-minute break between sessions to give you a chance to put some things in your vehicle before check-out.

Lunch: Lunch in the dining room served early at 11:30 AM. You're probably anxious to get on the road. Check-out and departure by 1:00 PM. Thank you for joining us for this program. Your participation makes the journey worthwhile. Safe travels home.

Yerkes ObservatoryThe Yerkes Observatory is an astronomical observatory of the University of Chicago in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. It was created in 1897 by George Ellery Hale and financed by Charles T. Yerkes. A 102 cm (40 inch) refracting telescope built by the master optician Alvan Clark is located inside; it was the largest telescope until the construction of Mount Wilson's reflector. It remains the largest refracting telescope ever used. Public tours conducted on Saturdays.
