Day Four: Wednesday, June 19 - Matinee Theater Performance/Evening Entertainment
Note: Theater/restaurant complex is ramped for easy access.

Breakfast: Buffet at 8:00 am in the lower level dining room. You might opt for something light this morning as the meals at the theater tend to be rather hearty.

Morning: Gather in the meeting room at 9:00 am for a sixty-minute lecture on MUSICAL PARTNERS with Linda. Look at the creative team of Allen Menken and Howard Ashaman, creators of the musical "Little Shop of Horrors." Then board our motor coach at 10:15 am for The Fireside Theater in nearby Fort Atkinson. Travel time is approximately one hour. Started in 1964 by Dick and Betty Klopcic as just a pyramid-shaped restaurant, this family-run business has grown to include a 1000 seat restaurant, a 600 seat equity dinner theater and unique shops. Now run by Dick and Betty's son Rick and his wife Jane, the Fireside tradition of excellence continues with 5-6 professional productions each year, fine dining and offers its guests a place to create cherished memories. The Fireside's motto: People will come to a place they have been invited and will return to a place where they have been made to feel welcome.

Lunch: Plated lunch at The Fireside Theater served at 11:15 am. Today's menu includes your choice of coffee, tea or milk and fresh baked bread. Please talk to your Group Leader in advance if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions. Menu: Asian Salad, Roast Boneless Pork Chop and Panna Cotta.

Afternoon: MATINEE THEATER PERFORMANCE: Enjoy a performance of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at The Fireside Theater. Performance begins at 1:30. It is a fun-filled, delightful spoof of all those great old 50’s science fiction movies. Seymour, the nerdy clerk at a down-on-its luck flower shop, loves the shop’s beautiful cashier Audrey and sets out to impress her by growing the world’s most unusual plant. Hilarity ensues when he discovers that the plant requires more than just water and sun to thrive. A tuneful musical score and a quirky, off-beat romance makes this show one of the last decade’s most successful and entertaining shows.

Dinner: Buffet at 6:00 pm in the lower level dining room. What does the kitchen staff have in store for us tonight?

Evening: It's been a big day at the theater, so tonight enjoy some FREE TIME. You can relax, read or come to the meeting room for a classic movie musical and some fresh popcorn.
