ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Door County Coffee and Tea / Inn at Kristofer's Cooking Demo / Fish Boil / Evening Activity

Breakfast: At 7:30 am in the resort restaurant.

Morning: FIELD TRIP: Board our bus for a 30-minute ride south to the community of Carlsville and DOOR COUNTY COFFEE AND TEA CO. Established in 1993, this small family-owned business still roasts coffee the old-fashioned way, in small batches to exacting specifications. They use the finest Specialty Class 1 Arabica coffee beans grown throughout the world, and roast in a fluidized-air bed roaster which they believe is the best in the industry. It produces a wonderfully even, perfect roast each and every time. See the roasting process, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a home-made muffin and receive a packet of coffee to take home.

Lunch: At 12:00 pm at The Inn at Kristofer's in Sister Bay.

Afternoon: Join Chef Terri Milligan in the cooking school upstairs for an EXCLUSIVE COOKING DEMONSTRATION of dishes you enjoyed at lunch. After returning to the resort join the storyteller and learn about the FAMOUS DOOR COUNTY FISH BOIL, a Door County tradition. Learn the history of this trademark event while watching the preparation. There may be other fish boils in the county but none of them have THE VIEW of Newport State Park. Bring your camera to catch the fiery boil over. When the fish is done we eat!

Dinner: At 5:30 pm in the resort restaurant.

Evening: Evening entertainment at 7:00 pm in the meeting room. Local resident and business owner Mark Carlson will share stories of growing up in Door County, his father's orchard, the cherry pickers and POWs.
