Road Scholar registration will begin at 5:00 PM--you may come at any time between 5:00 and dinner to pick up your program schedule and materials. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm followed by orientation where you will have a chance to meet your fellow participants and learn about program details.

Enjoy a continental breakfast at the hotel
Morning:
Depart from the hotel to see the city with a local expert. Sites to see include the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, Lombard Street and San Francisco's amazing hills. The trip through the city will end at AT&T park for an afternoon at the ball park.

Lunch at AT&T Park
Afternoon:
Settle back to watch the San Francisco Giants take on the Miami Marlins. Get ready for the action!
Evening:
After the game the group will return to the hotel with free time and dinner on your own.

Morning:
Explore the home of the Giants in a behind-the-scenes look at AT&T Park, heralded as one of the finest sports stadiums in the world.
Lunch:
Lunch at AT&T Park.
Afternoon:
Head south to San Jose and try your hand in the batting cages and pitching stations at the area's best baseball academy. Bring your batting gloves and mits, slugger!
Dinner:
At the stadium.
Evening:
Sit back and enjoy minor league baseball at its finest. From your seats in the VIP box you'll enjoy dinner and a fast-paced game between the San Jose Giants and their opponent the Modesto Nuts.

Day Four: Tuesday, June 25
- Breakfast/Aquarium of the Bay/The Rock/Free Time/Inspiration from a...
Breakfast/Aquarium of the Bay/The Rock/Free Time/Inspiration from a Baseball Coach!
Note:
Group will walk approximately 1/2 Block to the Aquarium from the hotel and from the Aquarium to the Alcatraz Boat Dock which is an additional 3 blocks. Free time in the area of Pier 39 is within a block or two of the aquarium.
Breakfast:
At the hotel.
Morning:
Walk across the catwalk above the 700,000 gallon exhibit tunnels at the Aquarium of the Bay and see eight-foot sharks an arm's length away. Included in our special behind the scenes visit, view the "jellies nursery" and see animals not currently on exhibit. Learn about the Aquarium's shark research, and how they are working to protect endangered and special species.
Lunch:
Enjoy lunch on your own in the area of Pier 39. There are many specialty restaurants to choose from.
Afternoon:
Board a ferry boat to Alcatraz and tour The Rock, San Francisco's notorious island prison. Per Golden Gate National Recreation Area policies the value of this tour is $26 for adults and students over age 11. Discounts provided for children 11 and under and Seniors 62 and over. This cost is included in program price.
Dinner:
Return to the hotel on your own providing a chance for you to spend as much time as you wish at Alcatraz. Group dinner at the hotel.
Evening:
A special guest will talk to the group about the game of baseball and what it takes to be a college player. The focus is on the importance of a well rounded athlete--one who focuses on classes as well as team sports.

Formerly a military post, the Presidio is a national park and recreational paradise featuring spectacular vistas, meandering trails, and historic and architectural treasures. Northern California's largest zoological park features approximately 1,000 exotic and endangered wildlife. Visit the new Grizzly Gulch (June 2007), home to two grizzly bears and stroll through the African Savannah habitat. Experience the wonders of the Children's Zoo and visit other favorites such as Gorilla Preserve, Penguin Island, Koala Crossing, Lemur Forest and the Australian WalkAbout.
