Evening: Evening tea - an opportunity to socialize and get to know each other better. Hot tea, coffee, and scones will be available.

Day Three: Tuesday, April 16 - Conferences. Free time. Facility tours. Wine tasting. 
Note: Will meet at 4th Floor Lobby for Tours. YMCA Trout Lodge and Camp Lakewood is a 5000 acre beautiful campus. Learn about the history of the place and much more!

Breakfast: Hot buffet breakfast also includes fresh fruit, breads, cereals and pastries.

Morning: 2 - 75 minute classroom sessions. Coffee and water available during class.

Lunch: Hot buffet lunch with salad bar. Menu varies.

Afternoon: 1 - 75 minute classroom session. Afternoon options include property tour by pontoon boat, mini-golf, hiking, walking, use of boathouse, Arts and Crafts, etc.

Dinner: Hot buffet dinner with salad bar. Menu varies.

Evening: Wine tasting with Peaceful Bend Winery. Learn about how wine is made and sample this local favorite.

Day Four: Wednesday, April 17 - Conferences. Maramec Spring Park and Peaceful Bend Winery field trip. 
Note: Bus will depart at 12:15pm and return at dinner time. Handicapped accessible. Bring your camera!

Breakfast: Hot buffet breakfast also includes fresh fruit, breads, cereals and pastries.

Morning: 2 - 75 minutes classroom sessions. Coffee and water available during class.

Lunch: Hot buffet lunch with salad bar. Menu varies.

Afternoon: Free time at Trout Lodge or field trip. Trip may vary but usually travels to Maramec Springs Park and to Peaceful Bend Winery (www.peacefulbend.com). Maramec Springs is the site of a 100,000,000 gallon per day spring and area history museum. Peaceful Bend stop includes tour of cellar and overview of winemaking process. Tasting room and gift shop is also open.

Dinner: Hot buffet dinner with salad bar. Menu varies.

Evening: Varies but can include campfire, movie or astronomy.

Day Five: Thursday, April 18 - Conferences. Pontoon Tours of beautiful Lake Sunnen at YMCA Trout... 
Conferences. Pontoon Tours of beautiful Lake Sunnen at YMCA Trout Lodge. Free afternoon. Ice cream social.

Note: Lake Sunnen is a 360 acres man made lake. Bring your camera! Passport stickers will be available at the Ice Cream social. Bring along your passport and camera for a group photo.

Breakfast: Hot buffet breakfast also includes fresh fruit, breads, cereals and pastries.

Morning: 2 - 75 minute classroom sessions. Coffee and water available during class.

Lunch: Hot buffet lunch with salad bar. Menu varies.

Afternoon: 1 - 75 minute classroom session. Free afternoon to try new activities at the Lodge or to explore the surrounding area. Sights worth seeing include Elephant Rocks State Park, Fort Davidson, the antiques town of Caledonia, and the Bonne Terre Mines.

Dinner: Hot buffet dinner with salad bar. Menu varies.

Evening: Ice Cream Social - have a snack with all the fixings! Pick up your passport sticker and socialize on the last night.

Day Six: Friday, April 19 - Check out. Free time. 
Note: Check out time is by 11:30am

Breakfast: Hot buffet breakfast also includes fresh fruit, breads, cereals and pastries.

Morning: 3 - 45 minute classroom sessions. Classes will finish by 11:00am.

Lunch: Hot buffet lunch with salad bar. Menu varies. A boxed lunch is available for an additional fee for those that wish to leave as soon as class is over.

Afternoon: Free time available to use YMCA Trout Lodge after check-out for all participants. Do some of the activities that you wanted to do but didn't get the chance like horseback riding or climbing towers.

YMCA Trout LodgeFull use of YMCA Trout Lodge. Includes boathouse, fishing, hiking, tennis, golf, mini-golf, lake swimming, Arts and Crafts, horseback riding and climbing towers. Some may require an additional fee.

Elephant RocksThe giant elephant-shaped granite boulders are the star at Elephant Rocks State Park. The coarsely crystalline red granite forms are popular with history buffs (who like to read the names of the 19th century miners who used to work in the area and who carved their names into rocks), children (who love to climb and scramble over and through the rocks) and parents (who revel in taking pictures of their children pretending to push the rocks). The park has a trail that winds through the rocks, which is an interpretative Braille trail. Abundant picnic areas and vibrant fall colors add to the park’s appeal.

Johnson Shut-insPlay in the shallows of the East Fork of the Black River. Shoot through Mother Nature’s hydraulics in the shut-ins. Hike a trail that will show you 1.4 billion years of geologic history. Take your horse on a pretty mountain trail. Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park is a jewel of the system, a place with something for everyone: pretty picnic areas, Ozark landscapes, natural places to swim, great campsites.

Fort DavidsonFort Davidson (at the base of the lookout, Pilot Knob Mountain) was a strong defensive position: hexagonal walls nine feet high and ten feet thick, surrounded by a dry moat nine feet deep. Two long rifle pits ran out from the walls and a reinforced board fence topped the earthworks. Access to the fort was through a drawbridge on the southeastern corner of the structure. In September of 1864, Fort Davidson became the scene of one of the bloodiest and most important battles of the Civil War in Missouri . . . the Battle of Pilot Knob.
