 Description: The College Inn is located in the heart of the historic district in St. George, six blocks from Dixie State University's campus. The historic district offers restored pioneer homes and buildings. This facility is used specifically for Road Scholar and other educational groups it is not used as housing for college students. St. George has beautiful red rock cliff and lava rock mesa as back drop with larger mountains and rock formations that can be seen in the distance. A lounge area with couches, DirecTV, a refrigerator, soda pop machine, guest laundry and microwave are available for your use. We also have a beautiful heated pool and hot tub for your enjoyment. The rooms do not have phones or televisions, but a public phone is available at the front desk.

Room amenities: Each room has two full size beds, private bath, free WiFi wireless Internet, hairdryer, soap & shampoo and individual heating and air-conditioning unit.

Arrive To: 3:00 pm MST Arrive at the College Inn for check in. The College Inn is located at 123 East 100 South in St. George, Utah. It is about 6 blocks from the Dixie State College Campus.

Evening: Following dinner have a brief orientation about daily activities and the itnerary. Introductory theater class in the College Inn Meeting Room.

Morning: Theater Class in the College Inn meeting room. Check out and travel to Cedar City. En route visit Zion National Park's Kolob Canyon.

Lunch: Lunch

Afternoon: Arrive and check into hotel. Enjoy a litte free time to explore Cedar City's main street.

Dinner: Dinner

Evening: 7:00 - Play Orientation and Green Show 8:00 - "The Tempest" in the Adams Theater, replica of London's original Globe.

Morning: 9:00 Free time or go to Literary Seminar, in the seminar grove to participate in a lively give and take about last nights performance. 10:15 Enjoy a Back Stage Tour of the Shakespearean Festival. See and learn about theatre sets, costumes, and lighting and the designers and technicians who bring it all to life. The experts are there to answer your questions and show you just how it's done.

Afternoon: 1:00 Attend Play Orientation 2:00 Attend a performance of "Anything Goes" in Randall Jones Theater.

Dinner: Dinner

Evening: 7:00 - Play Orientation and Green Show 8:00 - Attend "Love's Labour Lost" in the Adams Theater

Festival Seminars / Afternoon performance of "Peter and the Starcatcher" / Play Orientation and Green Show followed by the performance of "King John"

Morning: Optional: 8:50 Depart 9:00 Free time or go to Literary Seminar, in the seminar grove. This provides a lively discussion about last nights performance. Several actors and directors are generally present to participate in the give and take. 11:00 Optional Production Seminar about Elizabethean Music in Auditorium. This is a fascinating presentation about music and provides opportunity to view/hear a variety of instruments.

Lunch: Lunch at restaurant

Afternoon: 1:00 Attend Play Orientation 2:00 Attend a performance of "Peter and the Starcatcher" in the Randall Jones Theater.

Dinner: Dinner at restaurant

Evening: 7:00 - Play Orientation and Green Show 8:00 - Attend "King John" in the Adams Theater.

Evening: 8:30 Enjoy this musical performance of "Mary Poppins" in a spectacular Tuacahn Amphitheater setting!

Day Six: Saturday, July 20 - Theater wrap up class and Independent Departures 
Breakfast: 7:30-8:30 Breakfast

Morning: 9:00 Theater conclusion class Discuss all performances and the Shakespearean festival.

Afternoon: Program ends after lunch in St. George, Utah NOTE: Those taking the St. George Shuttle back to Las Vegas can catch the 2:00 or 4:00 PM shuttle which arrives Vegas at 3:00 or 5:00 PM. Otherwise you may stay in St. George at College Inn for $35.00, then leave tomorrow morning. See www.stgeorgeshuttle.com for the shuttle schedule and reservation details. If you need additional accommodations before or after your program, rooms are available at the College Inn for $35 per room per night. General Overview of Grand Canyon North Rim Free Time Options**Please note: The Grand Canyon North Rim is open MAY 15 - OCT 15 each year it is closed during the winter months. There is very little free time during this program.
