Afternoon: 3:00-4:30 pm: Check in, and welcome reception in the Dining Hall.

Evening: 7:00 Overview of the week and a chance to meet the other hostlers.

Day Two: Monday, February 25 - Micanopy/Marjorie K Rawlings House 
Breakfast: Dining Hall

Morning: Visit the historical town of Micanopy. We will spend the morning in the Historical Museum exploring treasures from the past and hearing a presentation from the docent about the historic town. We will walk to lunch while getting a tour of Main Street Micanopy.

Lunch: Old Florida Cafe

Afternoon: After lunch we will head back to the Historical Museum for a presentation by the Micanopy Regulars. These Soldiers will take our group back in time to the fort where they served/ Continue our step back in time as you tour the oldest continual working post office on the east coast - be sure to bring change for a stamp. Your time travel continues as you see Marjorie K. Rawlings home presented by guides dressed in period piece. See, feel and hear what it was like to be North-Central Florida during her times.

Dinner: Dining Hall

Evening: The Yearling is a movie that shows in wonderful detail and puts on video what we have seen and talked about today.

Day Three: Tuesday, February 26 - Stories of Marjorie Rawlings 
Breakfast: Dining Hall

Morning: Enjoy stories of Marjorie Rawlings from someone who lived by her and who knew her. JT Glissen is a writer, speaker, artist, and inventor. This is truly one of the best storytellers who does a wonderful job of tying together the things you have seen.

Lunch: Dining Hall

Afternoon: A variety of off or on site activities to help you see the beauty and variety of North-Central Florida.

Dinner: Dining Hall- option to opt out if your off afternoon activity keeps you away.

Evening: David Beede performs a lyrical history of folk music with a number of unique, hand-made instruments that replicate ancient instruments.

Day Four: Wednesday, February 27 - Trip to St. Augustine to see the Oldest House, Lightner Museum,... 
Trip to St. Augustine to see the Oldest House, Lightner Museum, Memorial Church, and Flagler College

Breakfast: Dining Hall

Morning: We start our day by visiting the Oldest House. Take a trip into pre-colonial times as you see how water was filtered, food stored, and how the Spanish and then the English lived. We will then travel to the old Alcazar Hotel, which is now the Lightner Museum and explore the amazing collection of Tiffany glass, scientific artifacts, beautiful antiques and much more.

Lunch: We will enjoy a lunch provided by Montgomery Center in the Fellowship Hall of Memorial Presbyterian Church. After lunch we will tour the Sanctuary which was built by Henry Flagler.

Afternoon: Enjoy the magnificence of one of Henry Flager's finest hotels, the Ponce de Leon. Enjoy the architectural beauty of this building as well as the amazement of the sanctuary built as a memorial to Henry Flagler's loved ones.

Dinner: Dining Hall

Evening: Cross Creek is a movie that further shows the life and times of Marjorie K. Rawlings in Northern Florida.

Day Five: Thursday, February 28 - Paynes Prairie and Morningside Nature Center 
Breakfast: Dining Hall

Morning: Over 20 distinct biological communities provide a rich array of habitats for wildlife, including alligators, bison, wild horses and over 270 species of birds exist inside Paynes Prairie. Exhibits and an audio-visual program at the visitor center explain the area?s natural and cultural history. A 50-foot-high observation tower near the visitor center provides a panoramic view of the preserve.

Lunch: Box Lunch

Afternoon: Participants travel back in time to the year 1870 and experience life on a Florida Farm. At Morningside Nature Center we will get a chance to experience what it was like to be at work a farm in Florida's early years.

Dinner: Dining Hall

Evening: Enjoy a relaxing evening of board games, puzzles, and/or cards with your new friends.

Lodging: Montgomery Presbyterian Center

Day Six: Friday, March 01 - Speaker and Program Conclusion 
Breakfast: Dining Hall

Morning: J.T. Glisson returns to tie the week together with his wonderful stories.

Lunch: Lunch in the Dining Hall. Program ends immediately after lunch.
