Afternoon: CHECK IN: Please arrive at the Hotel to register between 3:00-4:30pm. Check into your room at the front desk and then register with Program staff in the Main lobby. You will then have until 6:00 PM to settle into your room.

Dinner: Our first dinner will be at the hotel followed by Orientation

Evening: ORIENTATION: After dinner we will have our Orientaion. This will provide you with information about the inn, program itinerary, instructors, venues and on site staff. We will ask participants introduce themselves to the group. This is also a good opportunity to ask questions. We will have a representative from the Tattoo in to welcome us.

Boat Cruise, meet with members of the Virginia International Tattoo and Tattoo performance

Breakfast: All breakfasts will be at the hotel. They serve a variety of plated options

Morning: FIELD TRIP: The Victory Rover offers 2 Hour narrated naval base cruises daily from Nauticus, home of the Battleship Wisconsin. Their professional captains provide a fascinating and entertaining commentary as we cruise the smooth waters of the Elizabeth River and Hampton Roads Harbor. Thrill to the sight of Aircraft Carriers, Nuclear Submarines, Guided Missile Cruisers, and all of the other ships that form the World's most powerful Armada.

Lunch: Lunch will be aboard the Victory Rover.

Afternoon: PRESENTATION: Meet with performers and directors of the Festival to learn planning, booking and performing in the Tattoo. This discussion will be followed by a behind the scenes tour of the Tattoo.

Dinner: Dinner will be at the hotel or a local eatery.

Evening: PERFORMANCE: The beat of the drums, the call of the trumpets, the roar of the crowds-the mighty sounds of the Virginia International Tattoo return to Norfolk in May! The Tattoo is sure to set hearts racing with more than 850 performers from several countries joining forces, including the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Norway, Germany and the Czech Republic. It was awarded the American Bus Association's prestigious "Internationally Known Event" designation as one of the "Top 100 Events in North America". The Tattoo thrills with music, majesty, and might. You have to see it to believe it!

Morning: FIELD TRIP: This morning we will enjoy the Parade of Nations in VIP seating. Take your reserved seat at the Parade of Nations. Witness this fabulous parade of bands, floats and marching units from all member NATO nations.

Lunch: Lunch will be at a local eatery.

Afternoon: FIELD TRIP: This morning we will visit the d'Art Center. The d'ART CENTER is a unique attraction that expands the cultural experience in Hampton Roads. It's appeal crosses socio-economic lines and bridges the gap between the artist and the art, making the creative process and the visual arts come alive and accessible.

Dinner: Dinner will be at the hotel or a local eatery.

Evening: PERFORMANCE: Tonight we will go to Chrysler Hall to see a production of Les Miserables. The Arts Festival runs in conjunction with the Tattoo Festival and hosts a splendid variety of performances.

Morning: FIELD TRIP: Nauticus inspires and educates with engaging & interactive experiences that celebrate our connections with today's maritime world. Nauticus is a contemporary museum that uses the natural setting of Norfolk's harbor to showcase global maritime commerce and the world's largest Navy. Programs may be on river ecology, science or other subjects. Boxed lunch available @ Nauticus (option to return to Nauticus after check out)
