Afternoon: ORIENTATION: 5:15pm. The on-site Road Scholar program coordinator, facilitator and staff will greet you. We will discuss information about the location, your accommodations, meals, responsibilities, safety guidelines, emergency procedures and emergency contacts, and answer any questions you may have. If you arrive late, pick up your packet in the lodge and ask staff to escort you to the meeting room.
Please be aware that program activities and scheduled times could change due to weather and other local circumstances. In the event of changes, we will alert you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding.Dinner: A hearty homecooked meal prepared especially for you is served buffet-style in the lodge dining room, including soft beverages, and dessert. Beer or wine may be purchased.Evening: INTRODUCTIONS: Your program facilitator will go over the schedule for the week and you will learn more about your facilitator and your instructor. Participants will introduce themselves. The remainder of the evening is free for you to settle in and prepare for the week. The lodge includes a lounge area with a diverse library, games, dvds and videos, and a computer for Internet access; Wifi available.
