Day One: Monday, June 17 - Initial Meeting/see the museum.
Afternoon: We will meet at 1:00 on Monday, June 18. The first afternoon of the program will be held at the museum where we have an orientation.

Dinner: The group will have a picnic at the Corbin Pavilion, followed by get-to-know you activities in the museum and a tour with the director.

Day Two: Tuesday, June 18 - Toy boat building, sailing radio controlled model...
Toy boat building, sailing radio controlled model boats, climb into Drum Point Lighthouse, visit Annmarie Garden.

Breakfast:

Morning: Build toy model boats and learn to operate radio controlled model boats with the Small Craft Guild members in the museum's boat basin.

Lunch: Lunch in the museum lounge.

Afternoon: Depart from CMM to go to Annmarie Garden, a local sculpture garden.

Dinner: Catered dinner at the museum

Evening: Enjoy an optional movie for the children and grandparents. Grandparents may call this free time if they wish while the children watch the movie complete with popcorn.

Day Three: Wednesday, June 19 - Fossil hunting on private beach and Cove Point Li...
Breakfast:

Morning: Depart for Cove Point from Holiday Inn at 9:00 a.m. for overview of fossils with museum paleontologist followed by fossil hunting on a fabulous private beach.

Lunch: Lunch at noon at the Calvert Marine Museum.

Afternoon: Free afternoon and evening to explore areas of interest and our local restaurants. .

Dinner: Dinner on your own in picturesque Solomons, Maryland.

Evening: Free Evening to Explore Solomons Island.

Day Four: Thursday, June 20 - A canoe trip and some fishing will highlight the ...
A canoe trip and some fishing will highlight the morning activities. Watch out for the "Super Magic Man" in the evening.

Breakfast:

Morning: Pick up at the Holiday Inn and head to King's Landing Park. There you will enjoy a canoe trip along the Patuxent River.

Lunch: Box lunch at noon.

Afternoon: Enjoy an afternoon of fishing off the pier at King's Landing Park. Depart King's Landing at 3:00 p.m. for return trip to the Holiday Inn.

Dinner: Cookout at Corbin Pavilion and bubble fun.

Evening: Watch Reggie Rice, "Super Magic Man" in the museum's auditorium at 7:00 p.m.

Day Five: Friday, June 21 - Oyster Adventure/Concluding Ceremony
Breakfast:

Morning: Meet under the Drum Point Lighthouse at 9:30 a.m. On this final day of the program, participants will head out on the Wm. B. Tennison, one of the oldest Coast Guard inspected passenger vessels on the bay, for an Oyster Adventure. Led by biologist and educator Jackie Tackas they will learn about the biology of the oyster.

Lunch: Lunch in the museum lounge.

Afternoon: The program will conclude with a final sharing.
