Day Two: Monday, September 17 - Bike Fitting/ Scenic Ride and Hike 
Note: 2.5 miles of easy to moderate hiking and 10-12 mile biking on packed dirt and paved roads. Elevations ranging from 6.000 feet to 7,500 feet.

Breakfast: Hot breakfast at the Lodge

Morning: Fitting for bikes and helmets. Ride and hike on a maintained packed dirt trail to a scenic falls to enjoy a sack lunch amidst the breath taking scenery.

Lunch: Sack lunches in the field

Afternoon: Cycle to a resort village.

Dinner: Dinner at the Lodge

Evening: Evening presentation about the wonders of Yellowstone and surrounding area considering topics which may include, but are not limited to, geology, human history, thermodynamic features, ecology, predator/prey relationships, riparian habitats and how this all influences the Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Day Three: Tuesday, September 18 - Gondola to 8,500 ft/ Hike / Bike back to base. 
Breakfast: Hot breakfast at the Lodge

Morning: Take a Gondola to an elevation of 8,500 feet. At the top we will take a short hike of approximately 1 mile to enjoy the spectacular views, before biking down to the base area. A seasoned naturalist will brilliantly color the tour with interpretation of the geology, wildlife and natural history of the surrounding area as the group hikes and rides.

Lunch: Sack lunches in the field

Afternoon: Continue the downhill cycling adventure on the route back to Buck's T-4 Lodge. Starting at an elevation of 8,500 feet and ending at an elevation of 6,000 feet and riding a total of 20 easy to moderate miles for the day.

Dinner: Dinner at the Lodge

Evening: The group will watch the movie "A River Runs Through It"

Day Four: Wednesday, September 19 - Raft the Gallatin River/ Easy Hike 
Breakfast: Hot breakfast at the Lodge

Morning: Expert outfitters provide a memorable raft trip over class 2-3 whitewater. Active adventurers will enjoy a scenic ride winding through towering rock formations on the pristine Gallatin River.

Lunch: Sack lunch in the field

Afternoon: The group will hike 3 easy miles to a prominent land form to view elk winter range. Hikers will have an exceptional view of the surrounding mountain-scape and Yellowstone National Park. The instructor will have offer interpretation of how the elk and other wildlife who find refuge in this area during the winter months.

Dinner: Dinner on Site

Day Five: Thursday, September 20 - Yellowstone National Park/ Bike the Fountain Flats and the Biscuit... 
Yellowstone National Park/ Bike the Fountain Flats and the Biscuit Basin.

Breakfast: Hot breakfast at the Lodge

Morning: Field day to Yellowstone will include the Old Faithful area, the Fountain Paint Pots and the Upper Geyser Basin to experience all four examples of thermal features - fumaroles, hot pools, mudpots and geysers. Walk the Old Faithful Geyser Basin and explore historic Old Faithful Inn. Expect fantastic eruptions, beautifully tinted hot pools, pungent sulfur steam. Learn of life forms at high temperatures. Consider the Great Caldera's underground plumbing.

Lunch: Sack lunches in the field

Afternoon: A seasoned naturalist will use opportune moments to highlight the various unique thermal features as participants bike 10 easy miles around the Fountain Flats and the Biscuit Basin throughout the afternoon.

Dinner: Picnic dinner at Old Faithful

Evening: Evening return takes advantage of the crepuscular hour and possible wildlife sightings.

Day Six: Friday, September 21 - Final Presentation and Review Wrap Up 
Breakfast: Hot breakfast at the Lodge

Morning: Your instructor/naturalist recaps the learning adventure, summarizing your recently gained knowledge and puts things in perspective. The parts are greater than the whole. You've come full circle. Group photo; bring your camera. Goodbyes and check-out. Airport shuttle departs 11 am. Best to schedule flights after 1:30 pm.

Lunch: Grab-n-go sack lunches to take on the road
